Rifle got it's name from when the army pasted by there in the exploration days. A soldier had to do his business by a tree and when he was done he forgot his rifle. Later on that day he realized he was without it. ( Must have been in a cloud) any way he let his boss know that he had left his rifle near a tree in that area, So his boss marked on the map (Rifle) to indicate where the rifle was left. And that is how "Rifle" got it's name.
