I have a similar scope that gets water drops inside so l open the objective lens only and clean them but after them back all the ranges power changes l mean l zoom in to zero and turn the objective len its blurry, and if l turn from 50yrds upwards l can't see a thing at all, l don't if that happens to yours after you fix them back
I was given a free Center Point broken 4x32 scope that was damaged by recoil from a centrefire rifle chambered in 7.62x39. I was able to reseat a locking ring to clear it out of the sight picture, but the crosshairs have snapped. Still usable though. Might put it on for giggles down the line on a pellet gun or on my .22 LR. I have better scopes though.
What did you make the tool out of I'd like to see what it looks like I was using a fuse like 4 a car a but I don't want to scratch the lens so I bailed on that
It's been awhile and I have moved and cant find it. I'm sure you can use a butter knife on it's side , into the groves. It's in there right. Or maybe even a wide chisel that's thin at the end that will fit in the slots.
@@vincebiano190 got a shitload of cold chisel somewhere I think I might check it out. At the fattest part about the diameter of a silver dollar. It looks like a nice scope but it's kind of cheap. It says CenterPoint 4 - 16 x 40A0IR I just want to clean the inside of the lens that got condensation in there and it won't come out. I put in a bag of damprid and then I put it in a vacuum desiccator filled with MgSO4 too and it still didn't dry out completely. Been almost a year.
Measure the metal tube to the adjusters and measure the rubber adjusting tube to where the adjusters would hit and put a dab of glue to hold the clip in place so you can slide the rubber inside and be ginger so the clip doesnt break from the glue. If it does you have to start over. It's really a pain.
How do I loosen the parallax knob on my rifle scope I would a monstrum 3 to 9 by 42 with the adjustable parallax knob on the side and it's so tight I can't turn it and it's even worse when it gets cold give any ideas
