Nice colour scheme on the cushions they match the orange socket extension. The alloys on the GT Rifter look much better than their Berlingo counterpart.
bought my gt line rifter prior to lockdown specifically to semi fit out. great to see your fit and gives me a real feel now for whats possible. really look forward to seeing your next vid. thanks so much
Thank you glad you like it! Check out my Instagram for lots more pics @willwalkleyoutdoors Good look with your build and don’t forget to share your photos would love to see them 👍
That tent/awning is very good. I got one and believe me I seen worse quality awnings for 5 times higher price. Last year it went through storm while we been camping in Bavaria. Wind was so strong that I had to drop all heavy items in it to make sure it would not fly away. Not a single rip after. So I am very impressed with it.
Would it be better if car and tent were round the other way......so you can drive away and leave the tent on the pitch......and you can do some exploring with the car......(only an idea)......it,s a great set-up though must admit
Hi Will Just bought one of these awnings on your recommendation Gunna set it up some time soon just to see what it is capable of Have a Landrover Freelander with a outward folding door which I am hoping will allow me to use this as a kitchen area Nice vid, thanks, Yeah, not expensive but hoping it will do the job
Back Down To Earth Its a great awning for the price which includes a sewn in groundsheet I have a few extra guy lines with Clingon’s attached ready for those windy camps 👍 Let us know how you get on 👍
Hi Adele I got mine from Decathlon UK Can't see why it wouldn't fit a Doblo, a few strategically placed awning straps and guy lines think it would adapt to most vehicles Just Google "Apenaz" 👍
Purchased from Decathlon Adele and yes should be ok for the Doblo if you play about with it might have to put the opening over the tailgate like I did with the Rifter 👍
That's a great box! We are getting our Rifter soon and are planning to build one, too. As some other guys asked, are you able to provide the measurements of your box? Greetings!
Really enjoyed your video & your micro camper Rifter. I have a Peugeot Partner with a boot jump and was hoping to move onto a Rifter in the future. I was wondering if my existing boot jump would fit in the Rifter - would you be able to let me know the width & depth please? I see this video is 4 years old so you might not have the van anymore.
Hey Will, awesome setup, inspirational. Planning on getting the same long version. Could you maybe provide the exact measurements (length/width) of the bed? And how far forward are the front seats, would a slightly longer bed also be possible if you slide the seats completely forward? I‘m a rather tall guy so I‘m happy they do that long wheelbase version :) And in general I just love the concept that all the seats (including the passenger seat) can be folded almost flat. Because I also want to be able to transport 3 mountainbikes, 3 people + luggage easily I need to have a completely removable Boot Jump Box, love it!
Thanks for the comment Stew Could have made it lower to give more head space but would have sacrificed the storage underneath decided storage was more important in a micro camper 👍
Thanks Paul, I still need to use it as a car so didn't want anything permanent The boot jump can be removed by two people in minutes I will probably leave it in the boot permanently folded up which then gives me the use of the middle seats. It's a long wheel base 7 seater so i have completely removed the other 2 rear seats to be able to fit in the boot jump .Still got lots of things to do yet before its finished. Thanks for watching mate
T Gelz I’m due to do a video soon containing the full measurements so look out for that 😃 the height of the unit is 12.5 inches which gives me maximum head space when sat down 👍
Great video. I'm thinking of buying a rifter and awning. Can you open the boot from the inside? Or do you need to hop out of the side doors in the morning? Cheers
You can fit an interior switch on the inside of the tailgate which will open the boot or if your not electrically minded like me ! You can put an ordinary washing up sponge the chunky oblong ones in the lock mechanism so it won’t lock and gently close the tail gate so it doesn’t properly close ! Works for me !! 😄Thanks for the comment 👍
thebigchip Certainly! HOUSE A HOME INTERIORS A great company who came out to me measured up everything made them exactly how I wanted them 👏 instagram.com/p/BzLwJXhlUDi/?igshid=lk0gmf4bk1sj
Hi Sheila think you mean the cargo net I purchased this from amazon some time ago. they come in various sizes, just search "cargo net" hope this helps !
@@willwalkleyoutdoors5347 so the front driver and passenger seats don’t need to move position for the bed to fold out? Great set up mate. I have the berlingo mk2 with bootjump but have to fold driver and passenger seat down for bed to be made. Which is a bit annoying at times
@@maxmckerron sometimes I move them slightly but no need to fold completely down The video is an old one have done a few upgrades to the Rifter now Take a look on Rifter playlist on channel 👍
Thanks for watching Eddie .....the blackout blinds in the video I made myself using two camping awning mats covered in blackout material off a roller blind I already had Since then I have made some for the middle windows and new matching ones for the rear using Quechua gym mats from Decathlon as the quechua mats have the foil backing helping with insulation and condensation 👍 ATB Will
