So awesome to see OBNE pedals on their boards!!! I just found out about them a few months ago and I absolutely love their pedals!! I have been a Manchester Orchestra fan since Mean Everything to Nothing and haven't looked back. They're such an amazing band and they constantly reinvent themselves on every album, but still maintain their own sound. I love these dudes! Keep up the great work and the great interviews! Love this channel.
I got lucky with my 65 reissue jazzmaster. It stays in tune better than any other guitars that I own, whether it’s sitting out, in a case, traveling, or left unplayed for a month. It has vintage tuners and a mastery bridge. I also have a jazzmaster with locking tuners and a mastery bridge, but the 65 reissue is even a bit more stable than that one.
You know they release the full video at the same time as the trailer you just have to follow the link to their website. You dont have to wait for the full RU-vid release.
My Jazzmaster is much more stable than any guitar I’ve ever played. Especially with a Mastery Bridge. I had mine put away in a case for 3 months, perfectly in tune when I pulled it out.
Is it stable in playing, though? I have guitars stayed in tune in cases or on the wall unplayed for longer than that but which sag in ten minutes of subsequent playing.
Same. Mine's a CIJ and even before i got the Mastery gear it maintained intonation really well. It only goes out of tune after maybe some excessive vibrato bar usage. My SG always crapped out tho like Roberts.
Same here, with a mastery bridge I can do just about anything with my JM and it’s by far the most stable guitar I own. Stays in tune better then my tele which surprises me.
Taking the whammy off helps with that. That assembly effects both the bridge and saddle and has to be "tuned" during set-up. Otherwise a JM is like playing scrambled eggs. Groovy scrambled eggs.
It is a bummer when you don't get to hear what they're talking about. Especially some of the unorthodox uses they sound like they have for some of this stuff.
