@@quavo2326 I mean I know it works great for Rainbow trout, Channel Catfish and even LMB apparently. But I never really thought about it for Carp, here in the US we usually use Packbait so it’s fruity stuff that compliments it like pineapple smoke or Pink almond smoke. I notice personally (and this could just be my imagination) but I have caught larger fish on Boilies (all our fish are wild they have literally never seen a boilie) over Packbait or Sweet corn.
@@nicod686 since summer I don’t go fishing without boilies I mix them in with my loose feed and use them as hookbait 99% of the time and they definitely bring fish in,I don’t use anything bigger than 12mm but what I’ve noticed it’s not the boilie it’s all about what additive you use, for instance plain boilies will atttact fish if put in my loose feed but will struggle catching as a hook bait on there own, I tried using them soaked in butter corn goo and even though they smelt lovely fish wasn’t picking it up , I used my favourite goo the pineapple and they couldn’t get enough of it completely turned my fishing tripped around just by using a different taste/smell, pineapple goo had caught the most for me everywhere I’ve been
