Where can I get a printed or at least a downloadable file to show this information? The manual that comes with the Pro and the downloadable file is just not enough detail as this video. It’s a great instrument but my old brain needs more words or better explanation as to how to use the many wonderful features available. Thanks K8WPE since 1960 and still needing an Elmer at times like this.
None of the rig expert manuals are readable the fonts are two God damn small, and even on the rig expert 500 they don't even cover the f****** second screen they just leave you hanging in the dark. Not to mention that when you set the velocity factor it's not reflected when you go to take a measurement. On top of all of this nonsense the only contact you can get with rig expert is a goddamn email address in Ukraine that they don't bother answering!
The only critique I have is that I couldn't see what buttons you were pressing (off-screen). That made trying to follow along frustrating. But thanks for showing me the features!

Can you please do a similar in depth video like this for the stick 230? I recently purchased one and have yet to find a thorough review of the stick 230 and still have a lot to learn concerning it's use. Thanks for the great video.
William, thank you for the suggestion. However, the Stick 230 is exactly the same with the exception of a few things. The first, the display is a paper (monochrome) display that always appears to be on. It has no backlight so it can not be seen at night without a forward facing light to illuminate it. Only the features shown on page 1 are available with the exception of the R/X measurement which is displayed in a static mode. The Stick-230 can only be operated from 100 KHz to 230 MHz. None of the Coax tools or TDR measurements are available. Otherwise there is very little differences in the included functions. Thanks for the reply. How a bout a deeper dive then into the stick 230 with the antscope 2 software? if I understand it correctly there are more options in the software that are not on the stick 230 itself. Hard to find a good reference video for this item, at least in english that is. Thanks again
I'm looking hard for tutorial videos on this analyzer that I can hear good enough to understand. Lots of video makers stand too far from their microphone. The ads connected to this tutorial are easy to hear. The one talking, not so much. Sorry. I have to keep looking.
I bought one after watching quite a few videos, and nobody mentioned its main shortcoming... NO FREQUENCY COUNTER! I bought it to reduce my kit since it is smaller than my MFJ 269D, but guess what, I still have to take the MFJ 269D with me for the frequency counter feature. Also, the Bluetooth is VERY short range, like one car length, and drops out easily, so the stick pro has become the backup at home in a drawer to the 269D.
@@davez2989 how can you tune an antenna if you don’t know where it needs to be tuned to? The average commercial user has no clue where his radio transmits, all he knows is he knocked the antenna off the top of his work truck and he needs a replacement.

Hi Eric, that's an excellent question, you're the first to ask! At the moment these analyzers do NOT have the SWR2Air feature as do most of our Zoom models. However, keep in mind that if you have an IOS or Android device (Phone/Tablet) you can make use of the Bluetooth Low Energy to test your SWR. With that you would have much more accuracy as opposed to the SWR2Air "satellite dish" type of measurement tool. Can you control the analyzer and transfer the data to a computer or smart phone in real time? I am interested in producing impedance and SWR charts for frequencies across the band, and for several antennas. The size of the unit is great, but it means the graphs/interface are meh.
George, Yes, the analyzer has the ability to connect both by way of USB and *Bluetooth to the computer. With the computer program we provide free of charge to our customers, you can chart, plot and make live measurements with the analyzer, or download them from the analyzer and then print graphs and charts very easily. You can even make marked locations to highlight measurements at those locations. As for the on-screen graphs, actually, if you narrow the bandwidth of the scan on-screen, you can see really good detail down to about 100 Hz.

I just received a rig expert 500 yesterday and have an ungodly number of problems with it and no way to really contact anyone for help except an email in ukraine. When you finally locate the manual it's in a font size smaller than anything I've ever seen in my life when you print it out, the software doesn't work on any of the three computers that I have and it screwed up the booting on two of them. When you change velocity factor in the settings it's not reflected when you go to take the measurement. The manual does not include any instructions on the functions on the second screen. To top it all off there's really no f****** help at all from the rig expert company for any of these problems they sell it to you and then tell you to go to hell. You find no reference to USA location for rig expert any f****** where in the material that they send you! You guys are doing a piss poor job because when I received mine it doesn't work correctly and there's no f****** help out of the ukraine!
