Do keep in mind, that if you snell the hook (I always do with circle hooks) to tie it such that the hook is pulled IN to the fish's jaw; if you snell it wrong, it pulls the hooks AWAY from the jaw. It matters, and you can lose fish after fish if you get it wrong. I wish I had graphics to show you, but just look at the eye of the hook, IF you go in through the eye ON THE SIDE WHERE THE BARB IS, when the line pulls tight, it forces the hook CLOSED. Think of the line as a solid pen, think of a needle, as the needle (line) is pulled straight, it would naturally pull the hook closed, BUT IF, you go in on the other side, and then imagine that needle pulling straight, it OPENS the hook. It really matters.
