Would you mind sharing the height and width of the mast? Im trying to decide whether to build a mast or buy the whole kit. Thank you
@duckworksboatbuilderssupply
Sure - the mast is 370cm or roughly 12' 1-5/8" tall with a maximum diameter of 1-1/2"

@@duckworksboatbuilderssupply awesome thank you so much, does the pocket taper up or will a 1-1/2 inch mast work? Sorry last question!

@@roamingrino The pocket remains the same dimension from tack to head.

This looks like a lovely rig! What is used for the maststep?

The mast step itself is plywood, cut as part of the kit. There is also a carbon fiber tube that comes as part of the kit. That tube gets glued in place into the step and up at the deck. So the load is spread pretty evenly and effectively. The two piece spar slides into that tube, super simple, lightweight and plenty of support for the rig.
