happy thanksgiving my boy, hope you have nice thanksgiving.I will wait for your undead unluck on friday, and one piece reaction on Saturday!!❤❤🎉🎉. In JJK ep 18,we need Yuta OMG😭😭,its so sad, gojo is seal,my boy nanami is dead…….that so broken my heart😭😭,we aren t looking good,we need Yuta😭💔💔
That "you are me" was deep this is why I love the story what I understood when he said that was that in the same way itadori goes around killing all curses with no thought and never needing a rhyme or reason to... when he meets a curse he kills it and he's never questioned if it was right or wrong that's his parallel is mahito who kills humans and uses them as he likes also needing no thought and never needing a rhyme or reason to if you think about they're 2 sides of the same coin on opposite sides(curse/human) if you look at it like that they r the same
@@MichaelAngeloMAN Choso: won, but feels horrible about fighting Yuji Jogoat: 2nd place, but gets to fight sukuna instead Mahito: last place, but gets to fight Yuji at his full conscious so who's the real winner in the end?😂
this episode really hit me in the gut even as a manga reader. the fact that we only got one panel of the beach in Malaysia and they completely turned it into an entire last dance for nanamin actually killed me…might i say.. blew me to pieces.. im sorry it’s too soon. RIP NANAMI
what I love about your reactions is that genuinely it feels like you're the only youtuber who's actually into the show and not watching it just because it is popular. You remember characters' names, understand the implications of some scenes beyond the surface level, even catch stuff like an OST's name haha. Keep going, brother.
The director of season 2 is savage asf, bro really showed nanami in an end credit scene in the last episode giving us hope that nanami is alive, just to kill him off for good on the next episode 😂😂
Imagine working all of your life in hopes of packing up enough cash for retirement and instead you die right before your retirement nah that's crazy I would come back from the deads if I was Nanami
Actually, the day released this episode is 'Labor Thanksgiving Day' in Japan. For Nanami, who dislikes overtime work, MAPPA changed the date a bit to this national holiday, expressing sincere gratitude to him and us.
there's nothing yuji could've done to save nanami at that moment. once he arrived at the scene mahito was already touching nanami and mahito's touch is fatal, there's no coming back from that. also huge props to the VAs this episode, especially yuji's and mahito's. great performances that really make you feel some type of way...
Hey Michael, just a small correction for the into on Sukuna's Domain: It's not at all like Megumi's. Megumi's is incomplete because he CANT make a barrier (hasn't learned to do it) to enclose his domain in so he needs an enclosed space, like a room, or someone else's domain to do it in. while Sukuna doesn't NEED a barrier in the first place.. he can just manifest his Innate Domain in the real world with no problem. Great video as aways
Correct but you’re wrong a bit. Megumi’s domain is in fact similar to sukunas. True it’s incomplete because he can’t make a barrier yet but it’s supposed to be impossible to manifest a domain without one so unknowingly Megumi actually did something amazing probably because his domain involve shadows and he’s just extending his shadow for the domain so he could in theory just choose to skip the barrier path and with a binding vow like sukuna did and extend the range of the shadow long enough that he wouldn’t need an enclosed space to trap his opponent
so technically he can apply his domain into reality right? as in he can create his own reality to alternate the digital reality...that's so cool~❤( btw i simp for sukuna so-💀)
And sukunas domain has a barrier but it’s an Open barrier. He can choose to close it and trap people in if he wants but it’s basically pointless because of the insane range which for most people (if not gojo) would be impossible to escape anyways. So what I’m getting At I guess is megumi’s domain does have the potential to be like sukunas if he can extend the range.
@@trickeruniverse1979 I don't think that's really the case. Megumi's incomplete domain doesn't apply any cursed technique to people/objects like Sukuna's does
Yuji's reaction is so sad, you can tell how tired he is with all of this (props to the voice actor, here, last episode and in general). I know that's how it supposed to be, Yuji just keeps being dragged through the mud and hurt. Rest in Peace, Nanami, definitely a fan favourite character, and for a reason (even one of Gege's favourite characters, the author of JJK). Great reaction bro, I really like how you present yourself and appreciate the work, addressing all of that stuff in the beginning for your community, nice. :D
I mean, even it still really good despite the small drop so big respect for the animator team for able to deliver such masterpiece even tho they under a huge pressure from the studio
as much as I love mappa titles, a lot of the production team members have come forward about their work conditions and they're........ very rough. they complete every episode just hours away from airing them, so everyone is super overworked
when I saw Nanami struggling to hold on, giving every last ounce of himself, one can't help but feel the irony because this is literally how the animators at MAPPA must feel everyday at work
Sukuna DE is completed, it’s just he uses binding vow on his DE to give ppl the escape routes (cause its barrierless) but increase the range of his domain.
Let us be thankful for the people at MAPPA for giving our Boy Nanami a proper BEAUTIFUL send off despite their CORPORATE OVERLORDS working their GOD DAMN A$$E$ OFF.
Haibara is cursing Nanami n when he pointing his finger at Itadori is telling Nanami to curse Itadori as he did to Nanami, it's not like look back immediately other something.. They are very good friends. Nanami is a quiet person, while haibara is a lively person. When he dies, only his upper body is left, while Nanami dies with his lower body left. Which is match to the completely body. Even when they die, they're still telling us how much they fit together complementary friend.❤
Bro Nanami was such a demon he was so exhausted that he could'nt use The Ratio Technique he was using brute strenght while injured Rest in peace Kento "The Goat" Nanami
Even though Nanami knew that her words would make Itadori suffer, she still said them. "I'll leave the rest to you." These words were a curse for Itadori, and also served as a guidepost for her future life. The word "curse" is exactly what Mahit is for. There is no one more cursed than him.
I feel like you are most likely a Japanese watcher who is learning English, so I'll fix your errors! :D Even though Nanami knew that his words would make Itadori suffer, he still said them. "I'll follow you later." (Or "I leave the rest to you"/"You've got it from here." You probably know better than me) These words were a curse for Itadori, and also served as a guidepost for his future life. The word "curse" is exactly what Mahito is for. There is no one more cursed than him. You basically just got pronouns switched around (use “he/him” instead of “she/her”for male characters) misspelled Mahito, and translated Nanami's last words incorrectly (I think) into English. Happy to help and I give you my respect for trying to learn ANOTHER hard language! Have a nice day!
@@onyasyamaru Of course it is! You are already very good at writing so I imagine your speaking is not far behind! Keep at it! I love seeing people learning new languages to interact with more individuals! 😁
As I have been to Kuantan, Malaysia before, i can understand why someone like Nanami would choose that place to settle down...the beach is good, soo few people, the foods are great, the locals are good people...tho the houses are quite costly lol
This death was impactful for me because I identified a little with Nanami and understood why he was there. He was a normal guy, he treated jujutsu like a job and that's what he's good at doing and that's why he does it to try to improve the world even though he wants a peaceful life. I hate Mahito with all my might, but he's doing exactly what a curse should do: destroy, break, curses. He does his natural thing but he's so hateful. argh! How I hate him!
Those extended scenes for Nanami...hit hard 😢one foot in paradise and another in hell...thankfully, they toned down the gruesomeness of his death compared to the manga. R.I.P Nanamin... Looking forward to next week's episode... I'm thankful for You Tubers like yourself Michael 😊
fun fact In japan, this episode was aired on 勤労感謝の日 aka Labor Thanksgiving Day, a day to thank workers for their labor and dedication to their work rest in peace nanami
LOVE FROM KENYA!!! Loved to see how well adjusted you are with all the emotion this episode dished. Some of us couldn't deal with the low of Nanami going down like this and at the same feel hyped appropriately for Yuji. Anyway, takes time.
Mike, we need u to drop some merch with ur catch phrases: “Its a hopeless situation (crying face)” “We need backup!” “Pack him up! “Oou let’s go!” “Ooh, let’s go!” “We love to it tho!!!” And so many more.😂😂
rest in peace Nanami to be honest he doesn't deserve to ended like that 💔 we lost such a great character in this great show Btw amazing reaction Michael really I was waiting for this reaction
Im so worried for Nobara cause Mahito havent lost a in any battle. Were almost in the end, Mahito and Fake Geto is villain left in Shibuya Arc. But its concerning for me what happened to Mei Mei against Fake Geto the fact its taking too long to show what happen.
Correction: Sukuna can use both Cleave and Dismantle on things with or without cursed energy They're descriped as: "The default slash, Dismantle. And the other, Cleave which can be adjusted depending on the target's toughness and cursed energy level to cut them down in one fell swoop" so basically cleave is just a stronger dismantle He set *Malovelent Shrine* to use dismantle on inanimate things and cleave on things with cursed energy
Let's give a round of applaud to Tsuda, Kenjirou sensei for giving us the best performance as he leaves JJK, you too Michael drop your phone and clap for him 😂. Thanks for your reaction I just feel sorry for Yuji because there's more to come still 💀
Just a small correction, episode 17 wasn't outsourced, the episode director is friends with Vincent so he called him to work on the episode. This happens all the time, episode director calls his talented friends to work on their episodes and create a spectacle. Ep 16's entire megumi vs Toji section was animated by Kazuto Arai who never works on TV anime these days but came because episode director miso contacted him and they are close friends so he came. The reason why one punch man s1 was one of the best animated shows is because the director had incredible connections in the industry talented people and all of them came and worked on it.
Short corrections: I really wouldnt compare Megumis and Sukunas domain except for them being barrierless. While everyone could do a domain like Megumi in theory, Sukuna‘s domain is fully functional while not having a barrier (like a painting in air), that should normally be impossible
Sukuna's domain is complete unlike megumi. Sukuna chooses not to enclose his domain with a barrier and being able to summon the shrine without the barrier is what makes it special
The thing is malevolent kitchen is just a function of the play on words that Gege is using for his technique. Malevolent Shrine is Fukuma Mizushi Fukuma is a “demonic gathering place” which is most like where the malevolent part comes from. Mizushi could be a lot of things though. The “zushi” comes from a Buddhist shrine where tools are store. How every Mizushi could be a reference to Mizushi-dokoro which is an old or antiquated phrase for the part of a palace where food is prepared for an emperor…. Or you could say a kitchen. This also fits in with Sukuna’s themes. He always talks about consuming his foes, he claims fighting Mahoraga is like a “tasting” and how do you you cook food? You cleave, filet, or cut up the ingredients and then cook them over a heat source. What moves does Sukuna’s uses? Cutting, slicing, and fire! It’s all connected.
I'm French and honestly I've been following you for months during the Demon Slayer era, you're really a golden guy, I really like what you do and I don't miss a single video, thank you really man.
Heroes are only as interesting as the villains that they fight, and Mahito is definitely up there, Gotta love how creative they are with his attacks, The animators deserve better treatment for this incredible work that they are putting out under such conditions. Keep up the good work bro!
Bro Nanami's death really made me fucking cry😭, like he was like a whole Father figure to Yuji and he was a really nice person and badass sorceror that really cared for the juniors, I hope Yuji gives Mahito the ass whooping of a lifetime and kills him for what he did to Nanami!!!! RIP Kento Nanami a grade 1 sorceror and a good person & father figure to us all😭🙏🙏
Gege said nanami is his favourite character I can't wrap my head around that comment lol Rest in peace to the coolest guy in suit 🙏🏻 As a manga reader i thought i wouldn't get sad, but i did.
There's a bit of narration in the manga explaining some of the things Mahito and Yuji did in this episode that got cut from this episode. Soul Multiplicity is a technique that merges 2 or more souls and Body Repel is a reaction of Soul Multiplicity. The fusion of the souls is rejected and Mahito uses this and increases the soul's energy to increase its output and directs it at an opponent. The kick Yuji does to Mahito at 17:43 is a martial arts technique. He releases his knees, hips, and shoulders, quickly putting him in a low position, he then uses this momentum to strike with a kick. It's called "Manji Kick". RIP Nanami and as always huge shoutout to the JJK animators for being able to give us great episodes despite the horrible production schedule. Great reaction as well, Happy Thanksgiving to you and anybody reading this.
Love every moment of your reaction Michael😢 It’s really hard to watch this episode and I’m still not ready for this.💔 This Shibuya incident arc is insane!!
Micheal I will admit I am not a actual fan of you. I see you in many reaction mashups but I will admit I always look forward to your reactions because I feel like you are actually one of the ones invested in the story for every reaction I’ve seen. Love you and happy thanksgiving to you my brother!
Those civilians that Dagon ate....uh...they aren't doing great if you remember the mess of skeletons that he spat up after Naobito gut checked him. Bro had his own Thanksgiving feast.
If Yuta was here, this wouldn't have happened... At least he could prevented some of the terrible things that happened. We are waiting for your arrival, GOTA.
And also Michael anytime JJK starts with a character flashback it's a wrap doesn't matter how strong that person is once the flashback kicks in that's it
Also real quick bro Those humans that Dagon was slurping up earlier…those homies aren’t safe my g, that mass pile of bones that Dagon spit out before he transformed???? Yahhhhhhhhhh
