Words really do not describe the talent and vision and experience and skill sets that August has when he has serious tree removals to do or life and property can be wiped out very quickly. He's just the artist and the master when it comes to doing things safely and correctly. I watch every second of these videos and after years of watching his channel I'm still mystified on how clever this guy pulls these difficult projects off. He's number one in my eyes.
August.....you make me smile. Since the 1st video, which was the 911 oak - I think ... at a beautiful wedding venue. The opening moment of you running your hand down a massive crack which one could see daylight....then the stunning view of that Crack all but closing up after you guys remove the first rounds of massive weight, I was hooked then and there. I binge watched you guys for mths. As a viewer it was so cool watching how Monkey Beaver & YOU evolved over the yrs. Instantly i loved the honest connections you spoke of between you and " us " !! So yea, i ramble ALOT so I just wanted to say all that cuz getting a notice of a new video from that i still find them interesting me, ive learned so much & I still truly appreciate what you choose to share with us. There's only one other YTer I watch like you and I have to admit I get a little star struck when you guys reply / comment and give me a shout out ! 😀 ........Not sure why but from time to time I just want to tell you this cuz to this day I still smile every time you post a video. Take care & thank you for sharing.
Giant sprawling maples are unpredictable, but the crane saves the day. They will miss the tree’s shade, but rejoice being liberated from that seed dropping monster.
It never fails to amaze me how you can from the perspective of in the tree, figure out the optimal position of rope/cable that when loaded, the pick is perfectly positioned. Not just on occasion, but constantly the whole load goes the way you planned it. Iffn I hadn’t seen it a hundred times I would never have believed that it was possible…….August, how do you photoshop this into your videos 😂😂😂. Seriously, you be scary good 😮. That Mysterious Magical Monkey? 😊
(high back saddle) NOT just "older dudes" who would like it. I'm 37 and I would probably like it! If it prevents some wear and tear on my body, I'd try it!
Do you guys play the guess and confirm game with each pick, as far as identifying how close you were to the weight you were aiming for? It would be cool with me, especially with the sprawling deciduous take downs, if you told the audience how much the picks actually weigh. I am a hinge wood nerd and a pick weight nerd, and your consistency is awesome. Please and thank you. You rock.
Great video, August. That new Tsumura bar and Panther chain put a hurtin' on that tree! Curious, how many sharpenings can you get on 1/4 pitch chain...roughly. Compared with 3/8LP? Who did your 2511 saw?
Yep I did the same boxin dodge move when that first pic came off 😂 Awesome to watch !! 👍 Ok looks like that new bar is at least good enough 😂 when can we buy them ?
Nice puzzling bro, your picks were super impressive, especially considering what you were working with! What an ugly tree and garbage drop zone. Tree should have come down long ago, looks like it was drop crotched at some point like somehow making it shorter would solve the issue of being planted in the absolute worst location of all time.
