RIGHTWINGEXTREMISTS: "Freedom of opinion violated!" Warning about "Stolzmonat" unlawful?
In a video published on X, Lower Saxony's Office for the Protection of the Constitution declares the so-called Pride Month - a kind of counter-proposal by right-wing extremists to the gay-lesbian "Pridemonth" - to be "anti-democratic". According to constitutional law expert Volker Boehme-Neßler, the authorities are thus violating freedom of opinion. This is because the Basic Law protects all opinions as long as they are not punishable by law - including nationalist and derogatory ones.
