Good to see the distance maintained from the solid line / kerb at the A cones. Some training school vids actually have their drivers running their tyres onto the lines but not crossing. DVSA will fail trainees for this. I'd suggest the C cones are too far apart from actual DVSA testing set-up. There looks to be too much room for manoeuvre compared to the test.

Dave Bear Heenan this has helped me considering l had a vid who made everything super difficult. He is on the phone all the time and takes breaks (3) in 4hours. I am grateful for these guy's help

Not true. Instant fail for crossing the line, driver fault for running the line.

I'm sure there was some dry steering there ???? Steering when vehicle not moving is frowned upon on test

Dry steer and no all-round mirror checks as the vehicle started moving. This would have been a test fail

Dry steering??

When I did this I didn't start to steer until I was moving backwards

Same here. Dry steering is a No, No according to my trainer. Plus I was taught never to dry steer from the day I started driving back in the 80’s it’s just bad practice.👍

Hi i have one question..i want to upgrade from c1 to c licence and i wonder whether i need to take the lgv theory test or just practical ? Just to add i allready have cpc and tacho card as well as provisional cat c

Hi Dash Cam Clips UK You will need to take a theory test as well as your practical test for your Cat C. However, if you took a theory test to pass your C1 you will not need to do it again. Hope this helps! Many thanks and good luck with your Cat C test. PB Training

PB Driver Training thanks for your answer. It's confusing me abit because i had c1 on my licence automatically as i passed before 1996 and i did 35 hours cpc.

Yes, it can be a bit confusing, but the driver CPC and the theory tests are 2 different things! At least you don't have to do your Module 2 and 4 !!

Very poor technique of that driver .. obs were poor, dry steer .. even once past done B he could of put right steer on .. left the steer to late ... much more different when I did my test and well this looks appealing training ... can't get over the dry steer...

W Wood the dry steer is completely normal in HGV. It’s only cars you arn’t allowed to do that. I bet you haven’t even sat in a HGV cab yet 🤦🏼‍♂️

Actually, yes I did in 2004 I did my class 2 and 2005 I did my class 1 .. and Pcv in 1994 .... you are right I have never sat in the cab of a Scania since I worked for roadways after passing my test.. Oh btw with a clean sheet for my class one at Enfield test centre in london
