@@nondescript4311 😂😂 I meant I was a year late in my response. I've known Kinjaz for a long time now lol. After JBWZ moved away from the spotlight. They are the best there is right now in what they do.
Yeah mike Anthony and vinh are amazing have been for years on years I’ve been following them since the early days of RU-vid back when I was just starting high school trying to learn how to dance lol
Man, I love how a choreo can totally "change" a song for you... I remember when I first heard this track and I have to admit I wasn't thrilled. BUT MAN, the musicality and cues in Anthony's interpretation of this song really bring out so much detail in the music that you can't help but want to MOVE. So frickin' good! Thanks, Anthony Lee! Sick set, sick dancers, sick camera work! Always been a fan. Respect.
well am not trying to say harsh but hey, i've watched all the choreo from another dancer like matt stefanina 1million dance etc, but this is the moves that i've been lookin for, moves that i expect from the kind of music (read: rihanna needed me). The choreo that I couldnt imagine, successfully make a jaw dropping. Kinjaz really shows who they are. Guys you killed it !
Pretty much, 1million are pretty awesome, but when you compare this to theirs, it's pretty obvious that ones dancing to the entire song, while the other is just dancing to a beat. While 1millions "needed me" is pretty slick, this is just infinitely more enjoyable (to me anyways) to watch.
I agree! 1Million are amazing dancers, but their choreography to this song, most english songs imo, lacked meaning. They really just dance to beats and music. I appreciated Kinjaz choreo bc there is creative intent behind their moves. And aesthetically, they just killed it!!!!!!
Somebody let my momma know my body is at the local town morgue, because this whole video just snached my life and I just fell all the way TF out. That is all. 😍😮😯😦😩😳💆💀
Masterful. Damn near perfection. Every change of tone in her voice translated smoothly into movement, every beat and harmony accounted for, and a broken chain of brothers coming together at the hardest hits, I’m in awe. 💯
I have watched this video before, today was just in the mood for rihannas song and thought this song is so cool to dance to. Totally forgotten the existence of this video. Watched few other routines but was not satisfied, so glad I found this again, now I’m thoroughly satisfied! Only wish it could be longer!
I've felt this way for quite a while... Whoever is leading Jabba's new choreo is making it to "trendy." They aren't the same Jabba's they once were. They use to many standard radio hit songs and it just doesn't fit with their style. Jabba are still great, but I strongly believe Kinjaz have surpassed them.
Stating that they simply surpassed jabbawockeez does not mean we are unaware that there are Jabba members in this group. Of course we are aware, but that doesn't change the fact that kinjaz are the better crew now. And Jabba did not create this group... That is a empty statement.
Why does Matt Stefanina get so many views when his choreo is the same shit over n over n then u guys get like half the subs and views?!?! This is amazing!!!
I started watching old Mike Song Videos in the mid 2000's and it it has just been history from there. You guys truly know how to dance with your heart and put your soul into it. respect to your guy's success. we wish nothing but more success for you guys in the future. be blessed everyday and never forget where you came from. #behumble you guys are awesome. #RespectallFearNONE
wish there was a LOVE button, I literally was listening to the song and felt like there just had to be choreo to this, and this routine was even better than I could have thought!!!! LOVE
Actually I insist on believing that they're all friends with or at least know each others in one way or another because they're a part of a huge community that connects them through their own styles of art
This is how you control your body without making unnecessary facial expressions and over-hitting your moves. Those dancers in Matt Steffafina's video like Sean for example try way too hard. Bailey got better with overdoing it.
A lot of dancers make crazy facial expressions when they dance though lol and half of the time they do it they don't realize it. The thing about over-hitting moves sometimes people go too hard on unnecessary parts i understand that, but sometimes after you hit a combo it's makes it look sick sometimes imo. lol
it's a very thin line, whether something's overacted or overhitted. There are tons of different dance styles. Krump for example is mend to be this very strong dance and strong facial expressions do fit in but still this can also be to much. I think we both know when someone's trying to hard when we see it no matter the dance style, but sometimes it's a slight matter of taste :)
Haena Kim I agree that the subtlety in kinjaz is how to control your body when dancing. But I'm surprised you said Sean over does it. Have you seen him lately? He notices those little small things. He's so creative. Not to this degree, he still has lots to learn and kinjaz has way more experience, but Sean is a piece of art.
