WTF THE DISLIKES PPL?! He didn't exactly say: "I'm the best drummer in the world" did he?? its great drumming, although many (including me) could do it. This is still epic!!
I have been listening to Travis Barker's Crank That remix constantly on replay... and made this assumption that it sounded a kick-ass mix of rock, edm and drums. But as I heard Umbrella, I realised Barker's speciality is pure drums!
Awesome job.... inspired me to get a kit and take lessons. Got my Tama Imperial Star kit and have 2 1/2 months of lessons under my belt. Thanks for sharing your video and for us to enjoy and thanks for inspiring me to attempt to learn to play.
this is sick man! iv been thinking if i should start putting vids of me drumming on youtube, cos my drum teacher said im good. but im not sure haha. but still well done man!
@crazyrandomchris thanks man...the sounds of your toms depends on a few different things....type of wood ur shells are made from, how you tune them, type of heads u use etc. I always use Evans heads, and I currently have the ONYX series on my drums. Hope that helps
Better the Travis bro, better then the mix. It sounds like your of in a few bits but its just your tighter then the orignal mix. Well done dude :D Plus LEFTY REP FTW :P
great drumming man! I'm learning this song off this video :) I like the sound of your toms too, how do you actually get them to sound like that? is it the toms themselves? skins? or do you tighten them to almost the max? I have a Mapex Tornado kit with Zildjian ZBT cymbals. I cant get the toms from producing lasting sounds after one hit and it doesnt sound good. Anyway nice video man :) Drum kit is awesome.
Come on man, don't need to put T Barker in the title! those beats kill man, get your name out there and advertise your talent. i like it. snare sounds sweet. you use triggers on that DDrum kit? I like the set up bro.
@MrKyle73737 it is usually because, accoustically you get a better sound from a stick hitting a flat skin than a tilted one as all the power of the stroke goes into the skin, on an angle some of the power dissipates. Maybe set your kit out flat and see if you personally if you notice a difference, but stick with whatever is most comfortable!
