Tithe was a command to the 11 tribes of Israel. Only the tribe of Levi was allowed to receive the tithe because they did not have inheritance - land. That was in the law. The gentiles did not tithe.

The Old Testament is as important as the New Testament.Ask these pastors about Bible Prophecy.Do these pastors negate predictive prophecy ie Daniel 9:24-27,Jeremiah 31:31-34,Isaiah 53,Psalm 22,110( Messianic Psalms) Why did Jesus begin at Moses and the prophets( Luke 24:27) I wish I was in the panel.

the current church is in a haste to build churches, hence the craze with the political class to raise funds for their development projects. this is being done in full view of the challenges that their congregants are going through in meeting their basic requirements. How many children would go to school and achieve their goals in life if all these money was to pay their school fees. Malachi is about ensuring that food never lacks in the house of God. it's not about bringing up those big structures.

That was voluntary. They were not commanded to tithe. Abram tithed only once in his lifetime with the spoils of war not his own wealth. Jacob promised to tithe but we do not know if he kept his promise. We do not read anywhere in the Bible where Jacob was teaching his 12 sons to tithe.
New testament helps to understand the old testament.but you can't say you are better than Moses or Elijah,coz even in psalms 103:7 it says Israelites saw the hand of God but to Moses he revealed His plan.
