Even when he was kinda dating Maya he still got jealous when Riley was with Charlie I mean come on its always been Riley. I mean like Maya pushed them together and now all of a sudden she wants him?
You know that scene when Lucas was speaking French to rickety and you know how they put the subtitles he said if one day she wanted to go to France one day😊
I think this song fits them so well. When Riley said they were just brother and sister you could see it on his face that, that wasn't even remotely what he wanted. Even when he was dating Maya it seemed like he was trying to have the same kind of relationship he had with Riley and looked genuinely disappointed when it didn't happen. And Lucas always gets upset when another guy shows that not only are they interested in Riley but the actually know things about in her. In girl meets ski lodge he gets all kinds of jealous when Riley talks to Evan but doesn't even seem phased at the thought of Maya wanting Uncle Boing (aka Josh). don't get me wrong I think Maya and Lucas have a great friendship but as for a romantic love, the chemistry is just not there. I'm sorry I'm not saying this because I'm for rucas and I know that lucaya fans are going to get mad and fight me on this comment. just remember this my opinion and everyone is allowed their opinions so if ur goin to comment on this, don't be rude. ever since the triangle began im trying to look at how Lucas reacts to both girls especially now that they are in HS only three episodes so far but whatever. I think Lucas likes Riley a little more than Maya I mean in the gf/bf way. especailly after that last episode girl meets jexica, and when they all admitted that they knew jexica was riley, the way Lucas said he knows who she is etc. then Maya said "you say something nice to her u have to do the same for me" L: "I know u too" M: "your not even trying" L: "I'm tired" I just think his mind and heart is telling him who to choose, he knows who he likes more as gf, he just doesn't want anything to happen to their friendships especially to Maya/Riley friendship.
they just have such a great friendship and the best relationships are made from strong friendships.I belive they will be together, maybe not like boyfriend/girlfriend way but they will be together.ALWAYS

I totally agree more with you about Riley and Lucas because I see a couple when I see one. in the ski lodge episode when Riley was talking to another guy ( Evan) Lucas got very jealous (overreacted) but when Maya was talking to Josh, he didn't react at all. its clear that that he always wanted Riley from the beginning. in the end of season 1 he asked her parent's permissions to date her. in the beginning Maya and Lucas were never flirting. Maya treated him like a brother. it was clear that he was flirting with Riley, they both really do like like each other.
I remember like 11 year old me watching this when it first came out, shipping Rucas so much. I cried. I discovered this iconic masterpiece again and am laughing my freaking face off😂😂😂👌
+Anya Savic true , but who knows what can happen. anything can happen in 4 years of their high school what if they all find different relationships, and all just become friends. Maybe these types of relationships are their first step to them being prepared for real relationships
