Um no she’s using the grounding method which helps calm down her Panik attack as she focuses on the things she can touch smell and feel which is commonly used by people who have anxiety attacks or Panik attacks well even I use this method
Me too, it's like my hobby cause I go into different games and tell everyone if they are okay cause I don't want them to feel what I feel when no one was beside me when I needed it, and my friends came to me to help with their problems but sometimes their problem dissappear to them but their problem lives with me pretty much everything especially those gamers I met on a game
anxiety is a disorder. anxiety attacks are caused by the anxiety disorder, (which you have to be diagnosed to have) and from what we know riley doesn't have the anxiety disorder. so in conclusion it's not an anxiety attack, it's a panic attack.
I started crying so hard someone asked me if I was having a panic attack when I watched this and I said no I just feel her this has happened this sort of panic attack has happened to me so many and even this short almost makes me cry
I was in the movie theater watching that scene and I was just thinking relatable Im having a panic attack every second Riley's main emotion is joy but my main emotion is for sure anxiety
I liked this scene because I actually went through something exactly like this in my life, ima tell the story: So basically, in PE class, me and my friends were playing soccer, and then when I was trying to block the ball from one of my friends let’s call him Jamie, he tripped but I didn’t realize he was in pain, but then when one of my other friends lets call this one Angel, said “STOP THE GAME!” then everyone ran up to Jamie and he looked like he was in pain, after I looked, I went to sit down in the benches, then I remembered that when he tripped, I felt his leg on mine like if I tripped him. So then I touched my head and started breathing heavily and tapping my foot on the floor real fast, no one realized I was on the benches until my best friend let’s call her Annelyn, saw that I wasn’t there and then saw me on the benches, she came up to me and saw that I was having a panic attack, she sat down next to me and touched my shoulder and said “Calm down” but I couldn’t, then she said “Look at me, take slow deep breaths” I did what she said, she now said “What’s wrong?” I said “I-it’s my fault, it’s my fault Jamie’s in pain” she looked confused at first, then she said “How is it?” I said “When he tripped, I felt his leg on mine like if I tripped him.” She understood and said “I understand, but it wasn’t your fault, when me and the crew went to check up on him he said that his leg just gave up.” I didn’t understand so I said “What does that mean?” She stood up and said “Well you know how you’re running and out of nowhere you just fall down, that means your leg gave up.” I understood so I said “Oh, so it wasn’t my fault?” She said “No, it wasn’t.” So I calmed down and my panic attack ended. Annelyn said “You wanna go back to play soccer?” I thought for a moment, I said “Sure” then the both of us went back and kept playing. What happened to Jamie? Well he just sat down on the benches from the other side and rested, don’t worry, he wasn’t hurt.
This vid popped up td and it hit even harder after my morning so i js have to share 😢 I have a phobia of surgical needles and without much warning i got told i was having 2 td at school so i went to have it and started having a panic attack, barely breathing, shaking basically everything thats happening to riley but then i started crying infront of -my ex bsf -my toxic friend -3 friends who have never seen me cry -6 ppl who hate me And this guy who SA'd my friends last year & s£xu@lly harassed more of them Then i went back to lesson and all of my class (and my crush) saw me having a breakdown afterwards...
