Riley's Dad from 'INSIDE OUT' is Actually Andy's Dad from 'TOY STORY' - Disney Theory...

You won't believe this wild theory about Riley's dad from Inside Out being Andy's dad from Toy Story. I've been thinking about this for a bit, so hear me out. In Toy Story, Andy's family is moving, possibly due to his parents' divorce and the need to split their assets. Similarly, in Inside Out, Riley and her family are also relocating. Now, here's where the theory kicks in: in Toy Story 3, Andy heading off to college kinda resembles Riley's dad without the mustache. Plus, in Riley's memories in Inside Out, we spot the Pixar ball (an Easter egg from Toy Story) and the Pizza Planet truck. So, my theory is that Andy's mom found out about an affair between Riley's mom and Andy's dad. She was already pregnant with Molly and learned about Riley's mom being pregnant too, leading to the divorce. Riley and Molly are only a year apart in age. After the divorce, Andy's mom got custody of both kids and most of the cash, while Andy's dad left to be with Riley's mom, raising Riley until they moved to a new city. So, that’s my theory. What do you think about it?

better theory: Riley and Molly were born together but are not twins; Andy, Molly and Riley's father decided to divorce because he was with another woman (Riley's "mother"); in the separation process, Riley stayed with her father and Andy and Molly with her mother; This explains the fact that Riley looks nothing like her parents but has features of Andy, Molly and Andy and Molly's mother.

It was confirmed by the creator of Toy Story Andy's dad sadly passed away before the first movie. He had to throw out all his toys but one and that was his Woody doll he got from a special Woody's Roundup did. I highly recommend listening to it, it adds so much to the first two Toy Story movies.

Yeah, Andy’s dad was bed ridden as a kid in the 60’s, all his possessions were gathered into the lawn to be burned, he crawled out of bed, out of his room, all the way to the front lawn to rescue his woody doll, Mr potato head and slinky. It’s pretty damn sad. The pictures of Andy with glasses we see around the house is not actually Andy, it’s Andy’s dad.

I thought Andy’s dad had died because in Toy Story 2, when Woody was found by the toy store owner and wanted to buy it, Andy’s mom panicked and said that toy wasn’t for sale and quickly locked Woody in the cash box. The way she acted made me think that the toy had belong to her husband when he was little or it was the last gift he bought for Andy before his passing.

Its confirmed that Andys dad died before the events of Toy Story. The house they are in in the first movie is Andy's grandparents house. Edit: I did not come up with this. I saw it in a Super Carlin Brothers video where they interviewed the director's friend. As I remember correctly, it's canon that Andy's dad already passed away at the beginning of Toy Story. @@oleggeraschenko4932assuming that both Toy Story and Inside Out took place in the years that they were released, then he was too young to be Riley's dad (if he was born around 1990, then he would have only been 25 in 2015). If this theory were true, then either Toy story would have to take place about 10 or more years before 1995, or Inside Out would have to take place in the future from 2015.

DC comics had a web page saying that Bruce's mother, Martha, was the target, not his father. She was revived in the ambulance and put in the witness protection plan. She was given the new name of Martha Clark and moved to Smallville. She met a farmer named Kent. She couldn't have kids because of her injuries but they adopted an orphan and called him Clark after her relocation name. I can't remember the year but the page was put up on an April 1st.

If we're following an actual timeline here, that's not possible. The first Inside Out was in 2015 and the last Toy Story movie with Andy as a focal point was in 2010, leaving only a five year gap to create an 11 year old girl. That math isn't mathing lmao

Riley’s parents could be Andy’s grandparents. Theory - In my theory, Riley was never adopted. Later on when she was older, she slept with someone causing her to get pregnant. Andy’s father probably left the picture or died some point after giving woody to Andy which is probably why he was so attached to woody and woody felt like it was his mission to keep him happy. So in conclusion, Andy grandparents could be Riley’s parents because Riley is his mother.

This feels way more likely than the theory in the video, also Andy has blue eyes and so does Riley. (I saw a theory somewhere that it's highly likely that Riley is adopted since the background of Riley's parents' first shot doesn't seem like a hospital's, maybe Andy is the true dad, who knows) Just saying that it's possible since it's a popular theory that Andy's mom is Emily from Toy Story 2 and Pixar LOVES to connect the lore itself

I think Riley was adopted. If you look at the scene when she was a baby, her mom doesn’t look like she just gave birth. I think they couldn’t have a baby so they adopted a newborn that the mother didn’t want. She doesn’t look anything like her mom and dad with the blonde hair and blue eyes. Riley could potentially be Andy’s mom but I don’t think they are brother and sister.

My best friend mom has blond hair and her dad got brown but she came out with solid black hair and she got hazel green eyes while her mom got blue and her dad brown eyes and she biologically their child dna proves it even though she came out looking nothing like them plus it's a Disney movie I don't think they're going to show you how it looks accurately when the child is born because the movie is for kids lol it would be a bit inappropriate

Pretty sure it was confirmed by the creators of Toy Story that Andy’s dad died before the first film and that Woody was the actual prop from Woody’s Roundup that Andy’s dad was sent as a kid when a sweep steak was cancelled.

Ooooor! Andy is Riley’s dad. You said it yourself, he looks like him without the facial hair. The ball was Andy’s as a kid and wanted to save it for his future child. We know Andy loved pizza planet, so it would make sense if Andy wanted to show one of his possible core memories with his child.
