You will get inacurate with this kind of method. To get accurate alignment, You must connect both shaft with install the coupling bolt and turn simultanously between driven and load shaft. Good luck
sir pehla dial ka bara tu bathain.ye 90 nova kaya ha.dial ka 100 divisions hain so least count ho ga=1/100=0.01mm yani dial ki 1 div equal ha 0.01mm.or is main ju graduations hain jaisa 0 10 20 30 40 50 60 70 80 90 or phir zero. ye hain 0mm or 10x0.01=0.1mm phir 20 equal ha 0.2 mm or is tarha so on ye 85 ju ap na parha ha ye 8.5mm nahi bhai jan ye 85x0.01=0.85mm ha ok sir. top reading +bottom reading=side reading+side reading is sa hum 3rd reading ju support ki waji sa na par sakhain us ko maloom kar saktha hain.correct me if i am wrong
Rim-and-Face alignments should be performed with the coupling intact. Running the dial plunger across the opposing coupling surface without rotating that surface with the mounted dial indicator is about as inaccurate as you can get. www.petersontools.com
