How to shoot a bottle and a glass of wine using rim or edge lighting technique. The trick is mostly to bounce the light instead of directing it into the product.

Such a nice demo, without all the drama some other photographers add. Very well done.

Thank you for your great work Tony! You give us inspiration to try so many pieces of glassware! We have a glass table top and would like to attempt some uplighting techniques with constant lights.

@@tonygenerico Do you prefer only one rim light or two (left and right)?
@tonygenerico

I prefer one light source in one direction and bounce it to the other side with a reflector.@@eotceotc

Olá Joas, Desculpe-me pela ausência.

@tonygenerico

+freemanslim Hi there! I'm working on a new series of tutorials coming up soon. Also, coming up is the third edition of my book ESTUDIO, with a special chapter about splashes. But unfortunately only in Portuguese. Thanks for the comment!

Ola Tony! Pode me dar uma ajuda? Abraço! Joas Londres.

Excellent videos Tony. I see you used some form of liquid (using a dropper) to create the bubbles in the glass of wine, are you able to say what the liquid is? Many thanks, Haydn
@tonygenerico
@tonygenerico 9 лет назад
Hello Haydn! It is a solution used to help drying b&w films called Photo Flo! It is very clear and last a little longer than regular bubbles.

aperture settings plz ?
@tonygenerico
@tonygenerico 7 лет назад
Apperture settings depends on the light source and its distance to the subject. I suggest doing some testing or using a light meter.
