Love to see responsible young folks picking up the sport and having so much fun with it started watching this video and just couldn't stop . Very proud of all three of you. We need more young blood in this sport. 👍😀
Balls launch upwards due to shape of the golf tee, since the tee is fixed solid to the wood. This is negated in golf because the grass allows the tee to fall over or travel in same direction of the swing/ball. Last bit probably didn’t need to be said.
18:19 Dory's first shot at 166 hit the target frame on the right side just below the staple - so way off the ball. You can see the hole appear in the frame.
Dory's first up at bat and you told her to miss... and I decided I was going to use the Force so she would win... Congratulations, Dory. Happy you won.
If you're referring to the way I abruptly cut off Kevin to tell him not to say anything, I was trying to ensure he didn't give any hints to where shots were going to keep the challenge fair.
good shooting love it now scale down the size of the target shoot the tees !!!! years agome and my bro would do same thing MY rifle was 10 22 ruger plain no scope iron sights but shooting thousands of rounds i new exactly where that thing was going , we were shooting a 3inch galvinized nail from 75 paces and no that was about 120 ft iron sights but good shooting people love it when the challenge like this I would try again and record it but the eyes are not as good as used to be
Because she is shooting an off the shelf rifle that costs at most 1/5 of what either of theirs cost with a much shorter barrel. I wouldn’t say it’s funny. More that it’s a lesson for people to stay humble because money can’t buy talent.
Seriously, I can hit 12 gauge shells filled with dirt on a 100 yard post all day long with a factory 10/22. You guys are shooting serious rifles, and can’t hit that target….sad.
You can label the balls L,C,R or names if you know which ball you’re aiming for to prevent any confusion. Nice shooting. Wish i had this much open space.
OMG, holy excuses! And then the 2nd attempt on his 6th shot he says , I guess dory wins “for real”…. Com’on please….give credit where credit is due…..Dory, excellent job!!!
When I was a young man , we used nickels as targets. Of course we had open sites and fifty yards plus we used are fathers old hand me downs rifles bought from Montgomery wards dept. Store.. my friends and I were great shots.😮
You do know, in a box of a dozen golf balls, you get 4 sleeves of 3 balls each. In one sleeve, all 3 balls are numbered 1. In the next sleeve, all 3 balls are numbered 2. And so on for 3 and 4. You could have given each person a sleeve of balls, so you would know which one belongs to which shooter.
When we were young we stuck golf balls in a wood pile to shoot them. .22lr out of a pistol was a bad idea at 20 yards. It came back at us with pretty good velocity!
When I was in college I was visiting my Grandfather. His neighbor had a cattle ranch with a groundhog problem. He challenged me to eliminate all I wanted and he furnished the ammo. The conditions were I had to use a .22 and I had to shoot with the herd in the field and long range shots to not scare the cattle. I had a Remington 581 with a floated barrel and a 3 to 9 power scope. I went to the range with a bag of 12 gauge shot shells I picked up at a skeet club. It took a while to get the scope adjusted but I was successful full. I went to the ranch and started shooting. It was a challenge shooting between the cattles legs. Definitely a good exercise it learning what is down range from the target. The rancher was happy I eliminated 200 during that month during the weekends. Also I never shot a leg. 😊😊😊😊
This not dificult with a rimfire. Those of you out there -here is a warning-DO NOT do this with air rifles. We did this ONCE and the pellet ricocheted back into the shed we were firing from nearly as fast as it left!
Dory RULES! If you've got the skills, it doesnt matter if youre using a production rifle. And Dory, you've got great skills!! Great fun video, I had to subscribe 👍
I love shooting golf balls with my .22 long rifles 😅. Doing an organized shoot like what you're doing at 100 plus yards isn't easy but making a clean hit must be very rewarding!!! Yup I subscribed to your channel and look forward to many more great videos from you. Also, Dory spanked you guys pretty badly and deserves a crisp $100 bill from each of you 😂
Hey, I'd love to see a video of how you setup a shot from a to z. Ex, wind and temperature readings, how you calculate everything including equipment L, apps and so on. You could even make a video of developing a dope card. I think the community would appreciate your take on this. Cheers
Wow! I love shooting golf balls with my kids but we've never gone past 75 yards. Then again we are shooting regular ruger 10/22, marlin 60, savage mark II
Truthfully only watch to see the young lady smoke y'all's ass. I do enjoy seeing young people learning to shoot and enjoy the sport. All of you did great. I can tell she's had a lot of competition shooting. Just by the way she handles her firearm. The chamber flag was great
Looking at those fancy guns hitting a golf ball at 100yrds is a pretty low bar. I do it with a 30 year old Brno no.2 and a straight 6 power scope. But have fun.
I grew up on a golf course, and we used to play a game where we would take turns shooting the golf ball until one of us missed. Every time you hit it, I would go between 5 and 20 yards so it got harder the longer you went.
You do need to glue the golf balls to the tees. I learned that the first time I did this. I would glue a bunch of them with a hot glue gun and couple days before heading to the range.
Fun video. I had an old Mossberg 46Mb with the no. 100 peep sight that was very accurate. I used to shoot soda cans offhand at 200 yds. It was a pretty consistent hitter. Doubt my eyes could do that now.
If you were hitting soda cans offhand at 200 yards with a peep sighted .22, you missed your calling in life. That's National Matches at Camp Perry level and then some.😐
