Welcome in Builders. This is a tier list for RimWorld's DLCs. We are looking at this from both an existing player and a new player's perspective. RimWorld has four DLCs: Royalty, Ideology, BioTech and Anomaly, but they are not created equal, especially for new players. Using this format, I explain, spoiler free, what the DLCs each bring and their value for both veterans and new players.

I see this game aging like fine wine, i dont dislike any dlc, sometime i want one in my run and other times i want another. Though biotech was like a dream come true. I want creators to keep working on this game....... ❤ I just want coop part of it with sometypw of campain

There is a mod for multiplayer that is apparently somewhat functional. I haven't tried it myself. As for the future, the engine is also still running pretty well, and could in theory get some more polish to keep it ticking along for more DLCs.

I find it kind of disappointing that you cant get the new anomaly abilities except from mysterious strangers

I find that if I don't spend some time making a cool ideology, my runs get boring quick. Converting recruits can be annoying though.

ideology is the best of the dlcs but suffers from a serious lack of depth in theme content. Biotech and anomoly I havnt found reason to buy.

I think ideology is pretty good but the memes should have been split, as it stands some of the memes are simple too game defining and by proxy limit other memes, feels like if you try to get a complex ideology your going to get annoyed fast because of all the tiny requirements to keep them happy

It would be great to get a few extra things added to the memes, especially some of the lighter effect ones.
