Rimworld on its own is great n all. But it could stand to have a few more factions here and there. That's what this week's video is all about! Starship troopers arachnids and Rimeffect: Asari and Reapers add interesting and challenging factions to the game. It would be nice to see them in another video. As for factions vs factions videos, I think it's cool idea.

Right void ehh, you know I am pacifist and would save raider but for those of void race they kinda deserve the most gruesome way to die, among all hostile faction they probably the worse, but after you stole their tech they kinda weak. Let me tell you a secret in cheese handling void faction, download nyaron race and research their tech, you will be able to craft N.P.C guns, available both rifle or handgun variant, what did it do? Did it have 1000% armor penetration? Have insane damage? Nah none of the above, it deal status effect called nervous system overload after 9 hit any creature will be incapacitated because of pain, however not effective versus mechanic and insect but very effective versus Humanoid and animal, the gun itself only deal mini damage, however because Voidlings like Titan, Leaper and the sort is " Animal " then you can down them using this weapon, it also deal status effect even if enemy using shield so yep you got the cheese.

You should really talk about the Orassan Empire mod, a race of high tech humanoid tech with advance weapons and armor and also advanced buildings. They colonize the rim just to expand their Empire's territory. There neutral to the player and if u allied with them or have high good will, they will give you power through a building which i forgot the name of. U can buy it from there traiders.

I'm playing with them since the beginning and they are in all of my playthroughs. They look awesome, have nice (very powerful) weapons and armor, new plants and many other things. Plus you can get rich if you grow cat's eye berries and then sell the juice (which is totally not a drug)!

Yeah but i usually play with the lite version due to the weapons and armor is too op. I love the Blue cat lilly textile because it my fav colour. I love they smoke catnip which is relatable XD

@@LordRaven256 and i have an Orassan colonist wield a 40 kg uranium slug turret from Vanilla Expanded. Shes 16 years old XD and shes 2/3 the height of my main character

Orassans are a little too overpowered. Cuter Orassan's Lite gets rid of the overpowered buildings, weapons, and armor and also nerfs some of their OP stats like speed, while at the same time making the Orassans look more like cats.

Kenshi huh? I do play kenshi make settlement and everything but I just don't get how the quest works there is no story or whatever like your common RPG that kind of confuse me.

@@gkagara Yeah thats kind of the point to the game. Its open-ended. Some people just hate that. It helps to have a long term goal in mind while you are playing. Like in this game I want to.... Kill the leaders of all the slaver cities or.... I want to recruit all the Unique recruits from around the world... or I want to explore every Ancient ruin... or I want to fully upgrade all the tech of my settlement.

Rimcraft has some of the most detailed stuff I've seen added to the game. All in crisp HD quality too. The Outpost 21 guys also do a pretty solid job at things as well. Morrowrim got mentioned in the first video right? Or was that just the medieval video? All that stuff is absolutely in my top three. Especially since I consider Oskar's stuff to just be like unofficial DLC that everyone already installs and nobody needs to be told about lol.

we mentioned in medievial, but I'm thinking we should write up an actual overview of it due to its size, like I've seen what it does and boy am I impressed, and yeah about Oskar's stuff there is a reason its a running gag we keep mentioning him, because yeah...people do consider the Vanilla expanded unoffical DLC expansions

Love Your videos, the 'Ghostarmy' mod by vaniat is also a very nice 'faction' there is not much description in the workshop. i don't want to spoil the fun, but to summarize it, it is a very strong faction similar to the base game mechanoids (in terms of beeing a faction, e.g. no diplomacy, no bases, ...). I haven't experienced the void faction yet, but so far the 'ghost army' is the most dangerous faction i've met so far. Cheers!

Another thoroughly well done video. The only thing probably worth mentioning is mods that affect factions like improved diplomacy or more faction interaction but that's probably something that should have it's own video

Grab that faction blender mod. Now I'm a fan of the old school thought when it comes to furries but there are plenty of other factions to choose including the guys from RA2YR,ogres,giants,crusaders,little sisters from Elona and so on. I kinda wish there were trianglists but that little bit of cold war insanity might be too obscure.
