The Wanderer keeps joining because of the 'Wave Survival" Mod. In the Mod description it says "- New colonists will join on occasion to help you out. The lower your population is, the more likely you are to get reinforcements."

You can vivisect prisoners to raise the medical skill for your pawns. But dont forget to close the wound! Raising your pawns medical skill means more painfull implants for your prisoners like a brain implant that frys the brain.

I tried the modpack myself.. setup a good killbox, with turrets, the second wave a full power armor man with a shotgun yeeted itself inside of the base, and literally oneshotted me with a shot at the head and skull I suppose i need better defences

The borg needing to eat and drink makes since, they don’t have a maturation chamber to recharge in so needs biomaterial to operate.

the "second wave" is reinforcements from the 1st wve, you can toggle in the wave survival mod settings. an you get a trader a day with wave survival

The increased amount of trade caravans comes from Wave Based Survival. Part of the balancing, I suppose. You can turn it off in the mod settings if you’re so inclined.

The Mechanist from fallout 3 is a mechanic who went insane when his favorite robot was destroyed. He lives in a factory where he builds robots to fight the Antagonizer [she has an army of giant ants]. Mr house is an entrepreneur who predicted the war and took precautions to save and rebuild Los Vegas

The Wanderer joining may be part of Vanilla Events Expanded mod, since it's traitor colonist uses the same text as wanderer joining to trick you :p

Mr. Streamer. Get the mec controll belt so he cab stay inside whilst controlling a robot himself. This works with caracters who wont fight and could be really fun to have a battlemec to controll.

Tame that wild pod, they’re absolute bullet sponges but aren’t good with fire, you can use them to distract raiders, they have crazy high defense stats

The way the empire research works is its automatically tited, so when you get it it will automatically add the research points to the active reseach. If none are active itll wait untill one is. The game checks it every day 0h i think.

the nutrient paste dispenser is not part of a room with a prison bed, and thus cannot be used by prisoners you can replace the doors in your jair with stall doors which don't break room boundaries

You can still make mini quarries. Just go to the regular quarry on the architect menu and "change the material" and select the mini quarry, like changing between wall mounted coolers and wide coolers

As to the concrete, marble is slightly prettier and granite is rather durable. So depending on your colony you might want to save the marble for art or fancy dining rooms. But you can't set use anything but x on a crafting bill.

Just give the Borg their nutrient paste dispenser i believe it also allows humans to use it (?im not sure on that front) as it doesnt make sense for you to lose valuable prisoners because they dont like how you mushed up their vegtables

you have to keep your prisoners happy if you want to avoid prison breaks. Even if they have different cells they will all break out at the same time.

You really should prioritize defense, because traders won't always be there. Geothermal Power is a must to have decent amount of turrets.

Thigns I want out of this series: RoboDaddy to have his own house independent of the factory. So he can have a nice walk to work through some flowers tended by his robos. RoboWife. Running the prison so they is a warden, but i'll negotiate on this one.

Funny lil anecdote I had in my game today: *Decides that 20 boomrats is too much and kills half of them. Little did he know they were all in the store room with A LOT of flammables!* yeah, reloaded an autosave just for that and I don't feel ashamed whatsoever. XD

I had 10 boomrats join so I thought I would use them as meat shields to reduce their number. The next raid cut them down to 5. Little did I know all five were pregnant females.

But thing is I'm not exactly playing on a difficult setting so I don't get a lot of raid but boy if I do get some they nearly destroy my every time and I just build allthat fancy stuff at the front door and then they just chip away at the rock around it! XD sneaky lil buggers but I gots em this time! (just made an entire wall of machine turds and some other fancy glimmer world technology walls. (Quarry mod really IS op btw, I'm drowning in titanium atm XD)

Also the borgs should be like crazy overpowered in terms of healing (hence of the nanites in their blood healing them; like there was an instance where borgs frozen to death were working working fine after melting)

If Robodaddy ends up falling in love with one of his prisoners you should turn the factory into family business using the Children, Learning, Schooling mod... ive done a few playthrus where i only let the colonists family join the colony and its pretty fun and u can always make the kids useful by popping them out at an older age

Quick Problem I thought of.. Won't the Horn slowly lose it's Tameness overtime? Like he can't do any Animal work so after a while won't the Tameness drop?
