I have one major problem with your use of child soldiers, and it's this: Why do they have names?? It's like you think they're people or something. Give them numbers and sever anything that's left of them that isn't War! Also, why haven't you been branding your slaves??

These miniature war slaves also need to have any "civil" appendage removed and replaced with instruments intended to kill and maim their targets. Also their organs should be replaced to make them super miniature war slaves

Mr. Streamer, I know you’re past this, but you can click on the work tab, “haul” for example. This opens it up and you can put a priority to all of the sub tasks. So you can zero everything BUT the organ vat work.

You know, a cool expansion to the prison labor mod would be "Slave Armies" so you could still have them as prisoners but send them into battle and not have to have them as colonists so their deaths dont affect the colony's mod

The only mod that comes to mind for baiting mechanoids is what the hack where you’re able to call them in by triggering another mechanoid with a distress beacon.

Guess I'm commenting again. Getting more mechanoids could work roughly like this: 1) Enable a second colony in the game's menu (an experimental but vanilla feature) 2) Take a few capable fighters to a square near your place 3) Settle for the prepared second colony and hope for ancient dangers 4) Open the ancient dangers and hope for mechanoids 5) Loot what you can and drop the colony 6) Repeat

Idk if it uses the exact same framework as the Empire faction, but I was using the mod "Exiled Dawn", and it turns out that right at the start of a game, their factions equivalent to the Stellarch temporarily stayed at my colony as part of a mission, -they eventually went on an insulting spree mid-raid, so I killed them and stole their fancy crown and only lost a tiny bit of rep with them lol.- But yeah, they definitely looked visually distinct, and were wearing fancy gear and carried a high quality plasma sword -emphasis on past tense-

from what I understand about the empire is that they are a mainly space based empire in which you are fighting what is basically a trading outpost they set up for the locals. the stellarch usually wont come down to the surface of one of their planets

I had an idea for a series, though the fine details might end up being a proper ball-ache. Use rim-ships (if that mod is indeed working) and go for a low-tech viking colony? And perhaps for good measure try to make sure every single character that "joins" has both cannibal and bloodlust.

If worst comes to worst you can always clone a new body for flesh mother so she doesn’t return to robot. Also if you set your prisoners to no interaction it should prevent your warden from messing with them.

Mr streamer to easy recruit children i suggest recruiting one of the captive that's breeding children so when they are born they will be automatically members and basically bred by the colony to fight for them, to put the cherry on top you could recruit the ones with good gene for fighting like attack speed and health to breed, also they could be set to haul as 1st priority when not dieing for the colony

you get stacking penalty for death of your colonists and it is harder to deal with your colonist going berserk then prisoners.

If you install work tab, you don't have to have it in complex mode all the time. You turn on complex, set the haul items as high priority, then go back to normal mode. It will still remember your settings

Scan all your colonist brains! Make them immortal! Also, make the child soldiers do dumb labor since manually making them train can get annoying Also, maybe start a new tile to find mechanoids in ancient dangers? Also, with the locks mod, you do not need to unlock it for them to have access

Orbital mech cluster targeter is what you will want to call mechs down (not sure where to find them, though) Undraft Shia LeBeouf when engaging the enemy so he will go from pawn to pawn on his own and you don't have to micromanage him.

I've said this before, but the only end scenario is Flesh mother's marriage with Robodaddy v2.0 (who is the most advanced servant/brute in the mod pack). Do a seaside marriage with bone chairs, leather carpets, idk bone wedding prosper, do it in front of the elder brain so it looks like it's officiating it. Have the entire colony present, the prisoners, maybe even your favorite customers and a feast provided by your Michellen star restaurant.

Mr Streamer, work tabs mod may be complex if you drill into it and leave those features enabled/expanded, but in situations like this you can just expand out the sub-jobs, find what you need, set it, and then return back to the simple view. It doesn't invalidate your fine grain tuning if you set it back to simple view. Instead of manually babysitting them to ensure they do the work you could always set it and then spend a fraction of the brain power resisting the urge to fall down the rabbit hole for every little job.

isn't there a prisoner mod that means you can just slap a shock collar on a prisoner to enslave them and control them like a normal colonist instead of recruiting them which would have the bonus of if they try to escape hit the button and the shock collars would zap them until they go down so you can recapture them?
