Can I point out that Americans did not throw tea into the harbor because we hate tea. We were trying to make a REALLY big batch of tea. It didn't work out.

I usually just pour concrete around my wind power plants, otherwise trees tend to grow up again. I guess you could plant something like daffodils there instead if you want to keep up the beauty but that require some maintenance and the concrete is easy to keep clean. I always build a wood fueled power plant too, you can always turn it off when you are short on wood but it gives a steady power from the start which certainly is a must before you get batteries and is generally useful until you have a few geothermal plants. Wind power is unreliable and not even solar is perfect in rimworld so having all 3 power sources is a good backup, the cost in steel and components isn't that large and it sucks if your meat starts to rot during a heatwave because you don't have enough wind during night time and the surprisingly common eclipses. And yeah, you could make 2 more batteries for those resources but you are pretty good set with 2 wind plants and a wood one as well as 2 batteries for a while. The wood Vs electric stove is harder, I mainly use the wood if there are a lot of trees (like in a tropical swamp, I had 2 huge store houses filled with shelf after shelf with wood last time I played that and still had wood just lying on the ground deteriorating. I am not sure about the economical feasibility of Spiff's slave operation though, he did get 2 organs and a little rice but he did waste more then a little resources to build up all the stuff for ALambert not to mention all the time from his colonists to build all the stuff (on the road too, that is just rude). If he just had sold those artworks instead they would have netted him about as much money for far less work. I blame 20 stat man, colonists with normal shooting skill actually leave far more raiders alive when they just have an old Winchester so Spiff was basically lucky to even get one prisoner. Should have gone for 10 stat man instead, but also the setup wasn't perfect.

This is the first Spiffing Brit, that I've seen, game play where he actually plays the game and does not break it instantly. ;)

The diff between tea and coffee is that for tea you use leaves and for coffee you use the seeds of the plant and one more thing that coffee is actually good.

In Kenshi you can get a bounty to dissappear by sneaking into the prison and just waiting for a guard to let you out.

The problem with not listening in live is you hear Spiff suggest terrible/amazing plans and know they're going to end in some combination of undesired fire, social stabbing or destroyed tea...and can only sit in appalled anticipation

the best way to make tea is to set the teabags in a small strainer just inside the mouth of the cup and then slowly pour boiling water though them.

While I have never played Rimworld or Dwarf Fortress, these games seem very similar and only different in setting. For anyone who has played both, would Rimworld offer a similar experience to Dwarf Fortress but with better graphics and sci fi over fantasy as a setting?
