Very cool video. I've already watched it several times, great vibe. The Colony style is incredible, beautiful. Looks like good installation. But I just don’t understand why there are so few views(
making a timelapse of medieval rimword and it evolves from primal to medieval then pre-industrial and finally mega-technological would be incredible and you would probably have fun if possible or prefer to do one that would be awesome Congratulations on the video, it was very good, keep going
Very nice colony and editing! I have a question. I saw all of your colonists were meditating at the anima tree. Did you only have colonists with tribal background or were you using a mod so that everyone can do it?
Something about these jackboot cybercult toxer romans meditating at an Anima Tree feels funky, but then i remebered that its a 100% sucess method for PYSCHIC POWERS. Rimworld is fucking awesome (and the above visual does have an odd neo samuri vibe to it, to be fair)
Started with 2 pawns -> same germline genotype, male and female, made kids by using growth vats. Rest of the pawns i got from drum event spam and reset them with reforms so i could do more drum parties. Still it's pretty rare to get your own genotype to join. I've also set the game to have a few "left behind" pawns with toxoid genotype so i have a chance to get them during raids (with shocklances).
I'm surprised you didn't have any issues with the Unhappy and Very Unattractive genes, but then I remember with the various dependency genes, your colonists must be high all the time. Did Major Cell Instability give you any problems, or were they easily nullifiable by Penoxycyline and Biosculpter Pods?
Kind instinct gene forces the kind trait on a pawn. This mean that they won't have negative relations with each other - It's 0 even if they are staggeringly ugly. No issues with cell instability: Good doctors, bionic parts, pods, penox and later on applied Non-senescent archite gene which completely nullifies the cell instability.
@@SirVesanus but infestation happens everywhere under the rock, even if u set up a spot u mentioned, they still run around and destroy items and furniture. Did you managed to handle infestation without any loss?
@@SorwestOuO They do spawn everywhere under overhead mountain, but you can influence where they can spawn by building an infestation bait room (www.reddit.com/r/RimWorld/comments/q9kiwy/infestation_spawn_rate_deep_analysis_and_how_to/). You can see a part of it at 1:51 Also it's not really needed nowadays since infestations got heavily nerfed in 1.4 iirc. No losses due to infestation in this run, almost all of infestations spawned in the room below the base, only once spawned in the nutrifungus room.
Hey, I really like your timelapses and I wish for one day to have a colony like yours, but I have the bad habit of cheating which makes me not proud of my Runs, do your have any tips?
What do you struggle with? Defense? Economy? Keeping everyone sane? I highly recommend checking out AdamVsEverything channel here on youtube, he has a guide/tips for all things Rimworld 👍
Best time lapse I have seen Sure seeing a colony grow like an ant hive is nice, but we are humans and don't always think that big. Seeing the important story moments of our characters is what our experience is all about. Good Job even if it was a lot of work 👍
