This is 2nd time I watched this video because I forgot about the blinking green light since the first time I charged the keypad. They really need to redesign the back of the keypad to make it easier to plug in the charger and provide clear instructions - something that companies seem to no longer do and just put the burden more and more on Users to figure it out. Thanks again for this helpful video.
Disarmed ignores input from devices - door sensors, motion detectors etc. Home and armed informs you of sensor activation but won't activate alarm. Away and armed any sensor activation turns on alarm of which you also get notified of.
You can connect as many as you want, but too many would be impractical. I have three connected and I have one still on order, so when that arrives in total I will have four
If you try to get out of the house while the delay countdown (it will trigger alarm). Any door of mine will trigger as it was counting down... Is this a bug?
The panic buttons are on the left. the top one is police the middle one is fire department and the bottom is emergency ambulance. It’s the ones on the left red.
The panic buttons are the three red ones on the left. Or you can also press and hold the check and X buttons for 3 seconds (that's how it works also on the old keypad, it also works on the new keypad). You can also purchase panic buttons separately
Hello can you please help on this? I bought a new house. The house has ring security system installed but it is under the previous owner. How do I put it under my name and have the app set up with all the components ?
@@Sydnicateyup that’s what I said :) it makes the panel light up when you walk passed it I don’t think it’s actually a pir sensor to set the alarm off also.
Because when you arm it in home mode, the doors and windows with sensors are armed, but the motion sensors are not so you can move about your house and still be protected from anyone entering through the openings with sensors
