This was legitimately one of the funniest of AOE2 videos I've watched. Talking about lagging out games in the old days, Philster losing control but still giving updates, Dave dropping, the glitching through the final gold wall, the "HELP" and the GG at the end, Dave's voice going deep. I'm so glad I watched it all. Philster definately made the game. He's the legend in my mind.

So, I think the minimap thing is that there's a limit to the amount of resources it will show at once, so as resources get consumed, it renders new resources.

I’m so glad blue was able to glitch in and displace orange. They had control fair and square and it would’ve sucked to have the game end on oranges glitch.

I cooled my laptop with frozen vegetables laying on top of it with my hands sliding underneath the bag to reach they keys on hot summer days when i played games back in the day . It would shut off from heat otherwise. Probably wasn't the smartest thing to do.

I made it! Watching this vod and the struggles of this map all the way through feels like the biggest achievement of this year so far. The Philster updates really had me on the floor (thanks Dave for that great storytelling), but that HELP just fully sent me. The desperation of cutting ring after ring after ring after ring for hours would make anyone question their sanity. And here I was, watching it all, absolutely delighting in their suffering. GG to all the players, and great casting from you, Dave, and Philster. This was an ExperienceTM.

Oh god you actually uploaded this. It was going to be an absolute torture but the Philster issue was so hilarious that actually saved the game for you and Dave (otherwise you guys would've been completely drained and bored) and it saved it also for the audience.

Been watching the whole thing. It get's good trust me, red countless efforts to take over teal, orange joining in the action. Yellow not quitting and launching a surprise attack, and both grey and blue deciding to attack Teal makes it up for the 3 hours of stream. That was intense 03:23:25 I'd say Teal was the best player, Teutonics are broken, blue didn't had to do much, both red and yellow did a splendid job, with yellow coming on top but only by a little since if it wasn't for red constant attacks and orange joining in, and lastly gray coming in, teal would have won the game. And that's not counting that purple and yellow had rough times, where they got attacked by two civs, but not more than teal, that had to make his way over and defend against 4 civs (one of them being blue)

The moment @ 2:04 I realise that this should be a long map. Then I check the video's length. =O yep, that's gonna be a good one! [EDIT] As your twitch chat proposed, make this in 256x please!

So I've been watching this game since day 1 everytime I go to sleep. The first 3 hours I was lasting 5-20mins before falling asleep. Then a bit more the last hour. I'm glad to say I finally finished this video. Had a lot of laughs, awesome vid.

Map idea: Half Life. All units (except maybe TCs) will spontaneously die a random time after creation.

I'm 50yo. I've only started playing AoE2 again in the past month because of T90's videos. But nothing has made me laugh as much as this. It reminds me so much of playing on dial-up on Windows 95 on a tiny hard-drive. Back then, every time I wanted to play SimCity I had uninstall Ao2 and re-install SimCity. And then when I wanted to play AoE2 I had to uninstall SimCity to re-install AoE2.

I missed this live, it was really late for me and couldn't watch it. I spent all this time waiting for this to come. I sat through so much time of absolute nothing. It was so many levels of worth it. Had way too much laughs off this video, thank you so much!

I think the moving color is just the map being confused and trying to display things that are set up in a way it was never intended to handle. It constantly tries to display the colors of the resources but its too low resolution to do so. So it just keeps blending them together.

My only thought for the minimap changing, is that I think there might be an entity(dot/item/whatever) limit for the minimap, so as people build more units and buildings, those dots take away dots from the resources, if that makes sense? 'cause each unit, building and resource needs a dot on the map. So say you have 100 dots available, if you ten spend, say, 95 dots on resources, 1 on a town centre, and 4 on villagers. If you make a new villager then, you would have 101 dots, but there's a limit of 100, so resources are lower priority for the minimap, so you get 94 dots, for 95 resources, 1 for 1 town, and 5 for 5 villagers. This is just a very slightly educated thought =P.
