This version is closer to the original, performed one of Carter sisters, who wrote it, before Cash’s popular version with the Mexican horns.

I've never heard this song as a Bluegrass number...Not just anybody could do that. But I like it better than the original. Who needs Mariachi trumpets...this was much better!

As a lilkiddo in VERNONIA OREGON we all got free tickets to Jonny Cash movie ring of fire. We played by the steam engine and parked by the old logging train tressel in the movie. We watched from where we could up the street by our home while the movie was filmed. Nice memories!

I love Bluegrass music. Back in the mid/late 1980's i was with the Coombs/Hilliers Fire department on Vancouver Island and we were asked to work security for the bluegrass festival in Coombs, it was awesome. Great music and people.

Very nice job! It's SO gratifying to see and hear young talent getting it done! I say young because I've been a performing musician for 44 years, myself, and I'm 60. So you are kids to me. I have just subscribed to your channel and when I’ve finished my rant I’m gonna mossy over and see what else you have on offer. If there’s anything I like is a good helping of Bluegrass. Thank you for the great music! That said, it's not so authentic to overlay studio audio over outdoor video without acknowleding it. I would recommend posting either audio and video of the outdoor performance or audio and video of the studio version. (Or, if I'm wrong, and this is in fact outdoor audio despite what my perception tells me, I'd be happy to be proven wrong.) Thanks
