2 years after this video was produced I’ve finally bought a ring 3 because I travel a lot. This video was EXCELLENT. I feel much more comfortable approaching the installation on my own as I don’t have much time to install it. Thank you young man! Hoping for continued success with your channel! 👊🏽

I just got the Nest doorbell myself but for some reason I always have problems with their mobile app so I don't think I'd recommend that one either lol Maybe try one from Anker Eufy Security!

I have holes predrilled in my brick wall for when I had this doorbell. I'm looking at the eufy battery powered doorbell. Do you know if it has similar screws and mounting position so I dont have to drill more holes?

So you charged the battery but when you went to device health it shows battery 0% ???

I think Ring does a lot of business on their name recognition. Lots of folks don't know there are other options out there.

Awful gimmick product for people with more money than sense who are terrified of their neighbors/like spying on delivery drivers. Tried to install 2 of these for customers who bought them and asked me to install when doing other electrical jobs. Both times I could not get it to connect to the WiFi even when placing the unit on top of the router! Clients un-aware that the doorbell itself does not create a chime sound in your house so you will need to buy additional chimers which are permanently plugged into socket outlets. Also a sneeky £80 annual fee if you want 2 way video chat and storage of your video clips. They don't mention that on the constant radio adverts.
