Explains boiling reactors and pressurized water reactors, as well as footage of the construction of the first two reactors. Including interviews with people living near the power plant.
+ batterier.
Unlike the reactors in the USSR, the Swedish reactors were built with safety as priority. But i'm sure that even if the USSR had built their reactors like Sweden, they would've found a way to screw it up anyway... all to save time and money , safety NOT a priority.
No nuclear reactors is safe its time ticking bombs anything goes wrong and it destroys alot so its all bad and never will be good way of gaining electricity
@@mscapeh4451 it’s literally safest energy solution. Very small death count compared to other energy sources Also it isn’t very dangerous if anything goes wrong. Fukushima is almost completely safe today
If you refer to the RBMK 1000 reactor in Chernobyl, the operators breached the security protocol by dragging out too many control rods. They forced the reactor into failure by ignoring operating rules. I don't think any reactor is very safe with monkeys in the control room. So less blame on design, more blame on operative management.
@@mscapeh4451 You've had 2 years since you posted that comment. You only need maximum an hour of research to realize that nuclear energy is even more safe than wind energy. When you calculate the deaths per generated unit of energy, nuclear energy comes at the very first place. Also, nuclear reactors are not bombs. Why do people think nuclear weapons and reactors are the same when they literally can't generate the same result? Also nuclear reactors do not experience a catastrophic failure just because one single thing goes wrong. The amount of completely independent systems that need to fail at the same time is actually ridicoulus. Besides, even if you have to accept a melting core, every reactor has a containment unit. So even when you have that catastrophic failure, you will not see the spread of radioactive material as what happened with Chernobyl regardless. Where is the complaints about wind power and the fact that it ruins the enviroment, biological diversity, causing massive amount of deaths of flying animals? The fact that wind power simply won't always produce any energy at all? Why not mention all the deadly chemicals that need to be extracted and processed for solar panels? These chemicals are not so easily disposed of and should absolutely be alarming as a waste product. If anything, use hydro and nuclear energy as a base source of energy that will be able to cover the entire need of a country. From what I've understood, having 5-10% of your energy as wind or solar is surprisingly good and efficient to offload the base power and also make use of said "free" energy. But if you do what Germany or Sweden is doing right now, well you simply don't have enough energy when you need it the most, aka during the cold winters when the wind simply isn't blowing.
Upphandlingen.
