I totally agree. A lot of this album reminds me of Lush heavily. Maybe not really their final album, but like equal parts Spooky And Split. The harmonies, the chord changes, the rhythmic choices. Which is fiiiiine by me cause they're one of the most underappreciated first wave shoegaze groups.
The vocals have that Lush ca. Gala, heavily-chorused sound, but I'm also getting a bit of early Slowdive influence, the drums remind me of some of the cuts on Just For A Day or B-sides like "She Calls"
