Rio Claro, Chile (Entry #47 Short Film of the Year Awards 2020) 

Rio Claro is my favourite river, bar none. If there was a way to run Corkscrew repeatedly, I'd do it all day long! It's a scream. Just sick. Every serious kayaker should make a pilgrimage to Rio Claro at least once in their life. Not quite sure why, but there seems to be more foam in it than there was any of the times I went there. Hope no pollution is working it's way into the water. It's purity and clarity are a big part of its draw.

Really enjoyed the drone footage and other landscape angles. Helps one appreciate how incredibly unique the area is. Was in Pucon in the early 90's but doubt this was even run by then? Anyone know when/who the 1st descent was?

Just curious from someone who typically doesn't paddle whitewater, what is the level of difficulty/danger for this run for someone who is experienced? Most of the rapids themselves don't look too dangerous in terms of looking like most of them 'spit you out'.......but the real danger seem to be smacking your head on a rock. Great vid!
