I am so glad to see the smile that made you famous!! One thing that stands out is the joy you bring to your Mom, the memory you had to experience when you first started and had to stand alone in your dream of being our main link to the world of wonder in this world. Now, even your Mom can't wait to join you and live a life of the same wonder. She has taken to that just like a fish out of water. You are so blessed by many things that are in your life, you know exactly what that means. Now, let's just do as much as we can to help Ukraine maintain their free country status, it can happen with all our support. We stand with you always, Alina!! I'll send you an update to what we are doing the first of the week. Cheers!! 💗

I am so happy that you have united once again with your Mum! She's such a gracious and warm lady Alina and I can see where your charm comes from. I'm glad your visit is a success and that you have a guide to keep you safe. 🤍💙💛👩🏼❤️👩🏻
Hands down my favourite video from this series so far! Totally enthralled by the beauty and diversity of Rio, and will definitely visit this vibrant city some day. I'm also very happy that you were able to enjoy this experience with your Mom. Wish you both happiness and many more great adventures ahead ✨️
Wow spectacular city and views Alina. So great to see you having a great time with your mom. Your guide appeared to be excellent as well. Thanks for sharing!
Aww. I remember the cable cars when we made our family trip back to Brazil. Sorry your mom had to go thru that bureaucratic crap. I probably would've lost my normal sweet Indian temper at that. I love the time you spend with your mom. She's so sweet. It made me smile because I happen to be in Washingon DC with mom and we spent the day just hanging out. Those moments are so precious. Your Brazil videos have made me want to go down to the consulate and renew my Brazilian passport. Unfortunately, I used to work in the US defense industry before and couldn't have dual US/Brazil citizenship which I had for a while. Now I'm in the civilian sector so it'd good to get that back so I can explore my birth country!!
Really true, our parents are too important and we must always take care of them. The journey with your mom was really nice and the beauty of Rio is amazing. Thank you very much for sharing your adventure in Brazil
Such a wonderful video! Beautiful video taking and editing. Also, your mom seems so sweet and gracious! I love watching your travel videos. So nice to see that you are spending such wonderful times with your mom. I just lost mine in February! I moved to Toronto and worked there for one year a long time ago. After returning to my hometown Nuremberg, Germany I met my husband and we moved to Florida where I raised my kids. Still live in Florida but frequently travel to Nuremberg where my family still lives. Nuremberg is a sister city to Kharkiv which I understand got heavily damaged in the war.The city of Nuremberg is sending help to Kharkiv. I'm so sorry about the destruction of your birth country! Such a senseless act! I hope the insanity will end soon. Thank you for sharing your wonderful adventures!
what an amazing video..!!!! As an architect, I'm blown away & speechless by the architecture there as I NEVER visited that side of the world yet!! WOW...thank you! I would LOVE some HD pictures on this!
I’m glad you had a good time in Rio, hope you can come back someday and still enjoy your trip in other places, like the Iguazu Falls and maybe visiting the ukrainian community in Curitiba and Prudentópolis.
Hi Alina! I love this video! Visiting the sights / sites, sounds, culinary attractions of Rio de Janeiro along with the local citizens and visitors to Rio de Janeiro, is always awesome! Even better, it is heartwarming that you got to experience Rio and celebrate your birthday together with your mom - especially at this difficult time! Slava Ukraini ❤🇺🇦 !!!
Я смотрю! Lovely video, your mom is a star. You found some great places that I hadn't heard of - I loved the reading room - and the time lapses near the end are superb.
Discovered your channel recently and loving it ! The way you portray your trips makes them look so magical, makes us wanting to watch more and more ! Thanks for showing our beloved Brazil ! Mother - daughter time is always good !
Потрясающее место! После твоего видео ещё больше захотелось посетить Бразилию. Но я очень плохо переношу длительные перелёты. И никогда не летал через океан. Бразилия очень красивая и интересная страна😍🇧🇷🇷🇺
Thanks Alina, amazing footage and editing! Went there in 2018 and just the vibe of this place is incredibly contagious!. The music, the people, the beautiful mix of everything and everyone... one of my favorite places in Brazil for sure.. It was a pleasure to watch this video and remember moments, great memories!😎😍
So sorry your mom couldn't make to Pão-de-Açúcar, because of some stupid bureaucracy! Anyways, you both had a great time in Rio, so much better. It is easy to see how cool your mom is, and how well you two get along. Happy to follow your good experience in Rio! With whatever problems the city has, it is impossible not to love and to respect such a place, and no picture or even video could express well the feeling of just being there. Thanks for sharing.
I lived in Copacabana, Anchieta while working at federal university (fundão). I never did turism in Rio de Janeiro. I have a teenager daughter studying in Toronto. Now, she is with me in Goiânia and she wants to see são Paulo and others place. I need to manage time and cash to travel with her before go back to fall school. Nice vídeo. I found you because my wife ask me to search saskachewan for us to move there.
A very picturesque tour of the city with two enchanting tourist guides. That weird regulations exist is such a surprise when compared with how things have developed over last couple of years. The only only thing that has really flourished is bureaucratic rules cause yep. Seems weird to be already a month ago from the live stream you and your mom did. Still enjoyed the tour and sites.
Hi! Alina, you have to come to Poços de Caldas, Minas Gerais. Poços de Caldas is close to São Paulo. Is a city in a volcano crater. The city has farms of special coffee and olives. Has one of best olive oil of the world! Has artesanal beer, mountains, waterfall, delicious food, culture, the thermal spring water!! You can take baths and do treatment for you skin and the population’s hospitality , that will be, very happy to receive you! God bless you, your mom , family and the ucranian population. I pray for the peace. I apologize about my english!
A escada selaron é uma obra de um morador do local que foi custeada com os recursos dele e no entanto é um dos cartões postais do Rio.. Isso mostra como a arte e criatividade são muito mais importantes que obras farônicas.
Just saw you are looking for suggestions of places to visit in Brazil... If you ever come to inland Brazil, here near Brasília, there is a place (at Goiás State, actually, but near by) I would suggest for you to consider: Chapada dos Veadeiros. It is the highest region of Planalto Central, a massive rocky part of the Plateau, with hundreds of water-falls, with a huge mass of cristals underneath. Look, there is no way of describing the place, and all you coulld feel in each. Just take a look of the pictures of its waterfalls and of its nature, and you will have an idea, and you will either feel the call to be there or not, as they say. Each waterfall seems to have its own looks and personality, and besides, it is a wonderful town to eat some of the best food from Brazil (in the Minas/Goiás tradition). My favorite falls are Santa Bárbara, which is huge, and really you feel at a beach there, although you are in the middle of Brazil, and Loquinhas, maybe one of the least knowns, with a complex of small ones, but not much crowded, and with a special sort of energy, according to many, well, me included. Check for other "Chapadas" in Brazil, such as Chapada Diamantina (at Bahia State) and Dos Guimarães (Goiás State). I haven't been in either, but they seem to be just as impressive.
