Even the instrumental seems like it relates to the boringness of adult life. For the past 3 years since I became an adult I feel like every day feels the same I go to school, work I go home I go to sleep and it feels like I am in a cycle of doing the same thing every day and what makes it worse is how time is also going by faster and what this makes me feel is that I am growing older but not growing up, no new experiences, no character development, I kind of feel like the same person I was when I graduated high school and it sucks that the seasons now pass like days I feel like I'll be old with no stories to tell and all I will resonate with my adult life was how "Nothing's New" Edit: Does anyone feel this way? Like you just do the same thing every day and live such a mundane and robotic lifestyle, that it's like the days just blend together and it feels like you aren't making many memories and life is just passing by while you do not grow and mature?

I love this song so much. I remember when I was in a similar situation where nothing was new, so much so that it caused us to slowly distance ourselves from one another in order to find some sort of happiness. The most recent time that I’ve listened to this song I balled my eyes out like there was no tomorrow, it reminded me of him.

this song....the first time i heard it i felt so close to it. it feels like a familiar feeling, and it feels comforting. the raw emotion in her voice is such a vulnerable, heartfelt experience. the lyrics are so beautifully written. today's music may not be as good as yesterday's but there are those moments when a really good song comes around..and this is one of those.
