I saw u kept getting suprised by ur ult targets instantly dying though a huge shield. Rells Q breaks all shields currently on a target as well as stunning them. So she just kept waiting for ur ult and then she would Q it off instantly along with things like immortal shieldbow.

I use this build on volibear, it matches with your passive perfectly. You have fast waveclear and big tower dmg.

Statik is probably my favorite item in the history of league. A good waveclear is what makes a champion fun to play. So many champions are bad because their waveclear sucks, but this item save them

Hear me out, giga scale shen, same keystone, nimbus celerity, scorch (omega speed) second wind and shieldbash. rush shiv for wave clear and bit more damage, heartseel comes in after, scale as much hp, get demonic embrace for the extra hp and ap scale, get titanic hydra for even more scale, honestly throw a rabbadon or a nashor as last item, omega scale shen is real guys

Better build: static shiv, protobelt, cosmic drive, zhonyas, boots, abyssal mask

hi Petu, wondering what your thoughts are on his AP build for Shen top. I have been using it for number of games and I think its actually quite strong. Its an AP tank build, which gives great trading potential and good damage, with a lot of sustain and it scales quiet well into late game. I use it when we the team needs a AP toplane and it works very well into most melee champs. It starts as a Bami's rush, into leeching leer, picking up tier 1 boots whenever possible. If the enemy top is AD, finish Sunfire and tier 2 defensive boots, and take second item Rift maker. Next I build either Thornmail or Abyssal mask, depending on enemy team as both are defensive but increase magic damage output. Lastly, I build Demonic Embrace and if I still have gold to spend I usually swap boots for Spirit Visage to increase sustain as by now you should have over 15% omni vamp from Riftmaker and this will push that to 21%. The build is surprisingly cheap due for its overall strength and most people under-estimate the damage output, especially mid to late game. I would love if you tried it out, goes without saying, but I wanna know what you think of this AP Shen tech. Love from Ireland!!
