In Mexico it’s $4.19 and $29.99. For the record, our daily minimum wage is around $10. So half a day’s work for one, three days work for the other. In American, it would be like paying $30 for the cheap one and $150-170 for the more expensive one. Wild.
I live in Poland and for the more expensive one you pay 166zl. This is crazy because even for a whole day of 8 hours of work you don't have that much..

They really don't know the target demographic to monetize for? Mostly kids play this game, little unpayed children because they can't afford a PC to play the real game, and THEY CHARGING MORE than any child can even dream of affording. It's bad for the publicity, and it doesn't look healthy for Wild Rift's future. This game needs unique game modes to set it apart from the original PC because there's no reason to strive for a higher rank. People get a bad reputation for playing PC League, so what makes this game any better!? They need to step up their game!

I been into the monetization of these freemium games for a while. Since the first gacha they did in Wild Rift and I have been suspicious ever since if they were ever gonna make this a thing...and I was right. 2014 League is different to 2024 League...I lowkey blame Overwatch... Now Tencent is doing gacha on ALL their games! HoK, League PC, Pokemon Unite and Wild Rift...
Oh! Finally someone said it! I was literally begging my whale friend not to purchase it but I guess the shiny keys was too alluring for them but this system (on top of the gachas we already have) is such trash!!!
Exactly it’s 330 keys because it gives you 270 but then 2 keys daily for a month. That’s around 5,000 wild cores if I were to buy directly that’s $46 and for this I paid $30 and I got enough gems to buy a prestige skin with the 270 keys. I must admit though the rest of “goodies” are garbage and all are 30 days trials 🤢.
@@saal4667 yeah but Riot/Tencent will use the sale count from trash stuff like this (even tho it was the keys that sold it) to justify shelling out more of the same goods. Therefore making purchasing skins much much more expensive that it was when the game had just barely any champions.

@@seafravil there is already a paid protection on Battlepass. I believe they intentionally put you on a bad queue so that an actual player that grinds to be top would be forced to pay.
Funny you say that because I have been expecting worse and worse deals. Their history has been very shady and anti-consumer for a while now. We hold hope that they will turn around, but I know better.
I think the chat effects are cute to have in the game. If they are $1-5 max that would be a nice addition. But asking $34,99 a month is crazy. I also think the celestial pass is used to make the wild pass more attractive to buy.
To add onto the generosity of Crew, if you cancel your crew you still KEEP the battle pass. You could spend the $12, get 1000 vbucks and the current battle pass and a skin.

I was wondering why they changed the pricing of Wild Cores, and then the Stellar Bonds came out and I was like "ah, so that's why". They changed it to make Stellar Bonds look like a better deal. They're trying to make people get used to buying the cheaper subscription, like we're used to battle passes by this point, because it costs the same and gives you the same amount of Wild Cores as the cheapest Wild Core bundle you can buy :/ Which is now higher price that it was before. At least in my country, idk about what the price was before in NA.

The $5 sub is fine imo. Same price as buying 425 WC + you get some freebies. I will buy this once only for the 150 silver dust and almost 5 levels of wild pass. I will never buy the weekly chest tho. The $35 sub is only worth it for those who buy a lot of keys, cause they will save some money/wild cores + get some goodies. But they are still trash/lazy offers imo. They could have done better. At least 1 free random skin per month or daily poro energy/coins... Someone said they started this subscription thing with terrible rewards, so later they will update it & add more rewards and players will be tempted to buy it. Maybe then it could be worth it...
This isn’t worth anything. People can literally opt out of seeing this nonsense and I never got why they added random foxes and not Poros or stuff that’s actually part of the lore/ literally anything they expanded on in LoR.

If she feels like she gets value out of it, my advice is just let her. It’s her money. She just needs to realize that they take it away if she stops spending $400+ a year for it.

idk why people even play this game. the matchmaking is terrible, they use EOMM to force you to play more games. They rig the games so you lose and play. The champs are unbalanced. They just want your money. They do not care about the players. they only see us as a transaction. They play on your emotions. they don't reward you for doing good but instead punish you so you loose bc they give you bad teammates to carry. Just look at all the things wild rift china has. They don't take player reports seriously, they don't ban people who use racial slurs and are toxic. you can literally into to challenger. That alone should let you know everything you need to know. Im so glad I queued my account for deletion. Ill take the hundred of dollars I spent on this game as a loss but at least ill be happier.

There is a difference between not being able to afford it and not doing it out of principle. If you legitimately can’t afford something that is $5 per month in America then you do not need to be gaming, you need to be putting a lot of energy into other things. Deciding that it’s not worth $5 is a completely different and very valid situation. A lot of the people who say they can’t “afford” BattlePasses and game subscriptions will then spend heavily on fastfood or multiple $7 coffees throughout the day. It’s just a perspective thing.
