Haha thank you Maddy!! I'm glad you enjoyed it! It was a serious challenge to create this, taking a metal track with virtually no melody and adapting it to piano...I have to say it was very very fun. Though it was brutal on my forearms, because of how much time I spent practicing flying octaves on the piano (something not generally found in most classical repertoire I played).

Thanks so much! Yeah I wanted to do longer but my arm kept cramping up while practicing it, and so I had to stick with a bit shorter arrangement lol. I plan on doing Meathook at some point though, just have been doing a lot of heavy practice lately haha

The runs in this are very tiring on the muscles, because of how fast they are.

🙏🏾💀 I did Soul of Cinder is top of my list. I have a few "technical" aspects to work out...it's a bit challenging what I have in mind. Haha. You'll see. Next video will be another from Call of Duty, then probably my Doom inspired original ("The Betrayer"), which I'm very excited about. Then probably Meathook, then Dark Souls. I have a lot in the queue. Lol.

Спасибо! Glad you enjoyed it. It was a challenge to translate the song to piano, but I am happy with how it turned out.

Hahaha love it. And now you can see what has been occupying my free time for the past six weeks...the original version of this arrangement was actually about 1:45...but it eventually felt repetitive, so I re-wrote the ending and shortened it, and I'm very happy with the result. Will be embarking on Meathook soon...but my average time from conception of a Doom cover to recording-ready is about 2 months. So planning on Dark Souls next, and at least one original, maybe two, in the meantime. I'm actually thinking of packaging some of my original writing as ambience tracks - like where you do 30 minutes of dark piano music, just like some nice pads and then faint horror piano lines over that...thoughts?

@@jasonlyleblack oh yeah, it's very packed and it's really metal, i love it. More hardcore than bfg and the only thing. Tho, i think the only thing still remains my favourite, i am now convinced that doing the whole thing is an epic project,of course in effort and proportions, but even more so in the final outcome. It would be legendary, just like the original. I have probably hundreds of replays on doom eternals ost, but this could catch up in no time. Just imagine the journey it would take the listener on. Dude, I'd probably sell my soul for a fraction of your abilities. Seriously tho, it's always outstanding when a person with so much talent has such a hard worker. One thing I'd change is the background track, you don't need it, in my opinion it's the clarity of the piano sound that gives this piece it's power and the original just distracts, like there's this piano concert, but also a road construction outside and you wish they could, but you know the windows can't be closed more. Anyway, it is awesome and your break from doom should be mandatory, so you can regenerate and not get fed up with it. Dark souls sounds nice, tho I'm yet to listen to the source material. Those horror ambient long runs, are even more appealing. Tho dark souls is probably more strategic, if you want to grow here on yt. No matter what you choose be sure to love it, because internet seems to be able to easily sniff out labored passions.

@@0dious Thank you! Guess we just need to get Bethesda to ask me for a full length piano adaption of the entire score 😂 Would be quite an undertaking, haha. I actually posted a link to the piano only version if you'd like to listen to it. I agree the track is somewhat distracting, but I preferred it with the track as it keeps the energy of the original - and in fact I really struggled to make a piano version of Rip & Tear until one day just for curiosity I played along with the original track...and voila, the inspiration came. Hence, the final mix. Dark Souls OST does have some amazing boss themes, you should check them out. I also have yet another little surprise up my sleeve for that one. Though I have one more COD in the meantime. And then I'm also going to focus on some original soon, as I really am passionate about composing (have been composing original music for almost 20 years), and I think people would really enjoy those. Like you said, ultimately it's best to pursue what you love. I've been on RU-vid for 12 years now...and I've spent a lot of time trying to "get big" and getting exhausted by the endless hours, weeks, months spent making videos that sometimes struggle to get an audience. So now I'm really more interested in just creating what inspires me, doing it for the sake of the process itself, more than the end goal...and then putting it out there for people who want to enjoy it. Fortunately, with these recent videos, I've found a nice match :D
