I'm watching all the animes that they are reacting (Bc ima big fan of theirs), but in my personal opinion, I think they like my favorite anime the most, now that Grand Blue is done, which is Haikyuu 😊😋

@ birgistheword 1234 The day I watched this episode for the first time I had to go to work that evening. That song was stuck in my head all night, while that scene of Ainz hugging Clementine to death was playing over and over in my head. That's when I knew Overlord was a great anime.

Yeah, there's a lot of finer detail to her death in the novel, namely the part where it describes her organs as being able to be seen in the back of her throat when Ainz drops her. There's also the little tidbit of Khajit having been a somewhat tragic character that ultimately was still just a scared child trying to find the power to resurrect his dead mother (and ultimately being taken over by a sapient death orb) as well as a much more obvious clarification that despite Ainz's claims he was actually quite bothered by Clementine killing the swords of darkness as he actually did somewhat genuinely like them (though still considered the option of taking them by force or killing them if it'd be of use to Nazarick). Or to be more specific he was noticeably bothered by Ninya's death, especially when he studied her body and saw how mangled and tortured it was (to the point he doesnt find out she was a woman till later because in the novel version he couldnt piece together any physical traits to her chest area due to how mangled it was when he studied it).

Well to be fair. Ainz is a dispenser of justice. It's just not the justice that most people's warped view of reality recognizes as justice. Clementine took her time killing that girl in the Swords of Darkness. She enjoyed torturing her and making her suffer before killing her. So Ainz did the same to Clementine. He made her suffer, allowing her to struggle uselessly against the oncoming spectre of her demise purely to amplify her suffering as the realization slowly dawned on her that she was doomed to die a horrible, painful, agonizing death and there was absolutely nothing she could do about it. That is justice at it's finest. How can you claim that Ainz, the Supreme Overlord of Death, is not an arbiter of justice? Rich and poor, young and old, good and evil, all are equal in death. Before the Supreme One, all beings, nations, and powers are nothing.
