Alright, FAQ cuz the video blew up overnight: - “My GC is fine and I’m IOS pfft such fake news” Not everyone has your luck Shannon, the optimisation update (being the last update) screwed over half IOS’ users’ GC’s, which include: - Random Crashes - Inability to save OCs and progress once exiting the app - Exportation of OCs being unusable - Interactive Bar (for IPhone 11 and above devices) not leaving the screen And the list goes on… It might not be needed for you, but that “fixing update” was hella needed for others - “What happened?” According to the higher staff team of GL2 (for which I volunteered for) the game is “beyond repair” despite attempts to fix it, with no other precisions - “Is GC gonna be removed from App Store?” Where did I say that? Of course not! If you download GC now just warning you, you have a 50% chance to have it all buggy and messy That’s all, will update if needed
@@jazoo_118 I had the same problem, I don’t know if this will work for you, but what I did was I would need to watch an advertisement, and then fully shut down Gacha club and restart it.

When it comes to Android, while there wasn’t any specific statement, it is very likely that the optimisation update was the last update, meaning you gonna have to rely on GC Mods or Gacha Life 2 from now on (if you want anything new that is)
@@S3PH13A lot of users have complained about GC on IOS, and that since its optimisation update, while others were fine after it If you are still fine, you should normally remain fine for a while longer
The last ChibiMation Alpha build support IOS 13+, that's the lowest what Unity 6 support, so it will have backwards compatibility, and as I know we will keep this version support. It's running well on TestFlight on a lot of different iPhones, included on my test device (SE 2022). For Android as I remember (currently I'm on a trip) Android 6.0+ and opengl es 3.0+ are the requirements, but also it's a Unity game, so higher recommended. It's 2024, so I don't think it's a big problem if a 2015-2016 (8-9 years old) cheap-middle android phones can't run it. More features always cost more performance resources and storage.

yeah, it does suck that gacha club doesn’t automatically save characters anymore along with other glitches, BUT i found a way to force it to save my progress! so basically what i do is go into the studio, then exit the studio, then completely exit out of gacha club and open it back up and it saves any characters i made and it also saves anything i did in the studio which is nice if that didnt work then another thing you could try is click the “watch ad for free gems” button, completely exit out of the game, then open it back up. this trick doesn’t work for me but i remember seeing some ppl saying it worked for them hope this helps!
Seriously? Even I make backups of my projects, it’s basic practice for game devs It’s not difficult to revert back to previous states if you’re familiar with version control systems (like Git) This is very disappointing from such a large publisher, I would expect better from someone who’s been developing apps for so many years now but oh well
@@noxula_ absolutely. i’m not even a game dev and i like to try and make extra copies of my art projects or writing in some form. if it can’t be a physical copy then i usually make a digital one. it’s important to make at least a few backups for the files of a game so that way in case if one is corrupted or flat out disappears, you have others to work with instead of having to rebuild the game from scratch.
This makes more sense on why my gacha club has been buggy and crashing. My GL2 has been working fine, but gacha club hasn't. Also the fact that you said "you're gonna need to hold my hand for this" and I actually acted like I was holding a hand- 😭
Man it really sucks to IOS users. They thought they would finally get many many fast updates like samsung or Android but now their dreams are crushed 😭
DEAR GACHA IOS USERS ! I STILL SOMETIMES USE GC ! HERE’S SOME TIPS ! -SCREENSHOTS should be taken TOGETHER for each scene -TO SAVE I typically press RETURN TO TITLE, YES, and RESTART the app IF THIS DOESNT WORK I sadly cant help atm. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO 😭 Genuinely I needed gacha club to be fixed for iOS because I can’t stand the lack of static poses in gl2 as much as I think the custom poses are cool I’d like to have premade ones
Yeah. I barely even use Gacha Life 2 for anything other than Character Design. I don't like making Videos with it due to not having Static Poses. It's Really A Pain To Make Custom Poses. Especially Things Like Walk Cycles That'd Be Used In Every Video I Make. Plus The Lack Of Important Backgrounds (Interiors Of Houses Mostly-) And Props.
Man.. this sucks.. to think a game that I waited tirelessly for, searched how long the game would come out, and being so excited for it when it finally released.. R.I.P Gacha Club. You will be missed dearly. (I really don’t wanna attempt to make poses in gacha life 2 😭)

It starts with iOS because iOS wants to be its own all encompassing application. It’s very hard to convert things over into its form where as android it’s easier because it’s more like a computer and Google Beeston doesn’t have to be converted. The creator of Apple doesn’t care about its customers. He just wants to be different.
Mines on the tablet as been like that for a while, maybe a full year honestly, but I found a way to save OCs/Scenes (it works on mine, idk if it works on everyone) When you finish making the OCs and plan on closing the app go to made a random prop (whatever prop, I suggest ones that you can see the colours) and then you change the colours of it (can be only one colour or all, it doesn't mind which colour), then go over studio and put the prop on the display (even if you don't put it, it should work, but better safe and sorry) then go over the back and go to the background feature and try to change to colour, if it doesn't work, congratulations! You just saved everything before this moment! You just have to close it and re-open it (I found out this by accident😂) Helping the poor IOS users before they go crazy, a little (it doesn't take much time like it seems to take)
@Tyler-0 really??? I'm an android user and all I have to do is hit the close app button if I just made the changes but if I am on it for like, three to five minutes then go out of the app it usually saves whatever screenshot I did last time I was there
That's ok!!! there are ways to bypass the bugs!!! you can find some tuts on yt to bypass some / most bugs:)) with the other thing, that's pretty standard for most new apps. thank you for the update!!!

Android phones move more like computers where iOS moves on its own form. just like how everyone’s always wondering why Xbox gets the computer games before PS4 and 5 it’s because Xbox is more like a computer.
this is honestly super disappointing, and i mean ever since the very beginning (i mean since 2020, during gacha clubs release). you'd expect luni to have had backup files and scripts for the game-considering how long he's been a game dev, its basic fucking safety precautions as a creator of ANY type, artist, animator, game dev, music composer, you name it-to have backup files on deck with you. loosing the initial files, then messing up the ios files after that god awful update... its honestly disappointing. this doesnt even BEGIN to express my frustration with luni as a game dev... lucky for me, i was an ios user all this time, but recently moved to android, so it wont affect me so much-but it still pisses me off. way to go luni! you ruined another game of yours!
This is so disappointing. as an iOS gacha club user who uses the app solely because it’s my favourite of all the gacha apps, I’m really sad to see it’ll never get fixed… I already have Gacha Life 2 and the original Gacha Life, but I don’t use GL2 very much because I actually don’t like it very much, the artstyle is too cartoonish and childlike for me and I’m not good at making my more mature characters in that style 😭 for me I’ll just try and keep using Gacha Club and original Gacha Life, I guess- 😞
Omg fr I loved gc I literally spent most of my time on gc then others,infact,on gl2 they don't have the eyes I have on my roblox ocs and i miss doing my edits with my roblox ocs in gc. 😔

im so late to this video but im an ios gc user and i have ways to get around some of the glitches!! to save your progress: make sure you watch an ad before closing the app. this can be by either playing a mini game OR going to the menu and clicking "return to home screen" to prompt an ad to appear. i usually swipe out the app tab right after i do this, and it saves every time! for exports: unfortunately i do not have a solution to exporting to other devices yet, but if you're someone like me who needs multiple copies of an oc for animating separate body parts etc, i have a solution for this! first make sure you have one default/unwanted oc that you don't mind replacing, as well as the oc you want to copy. put the unwanted character in one of the 10 main slots, and the oc to be copied in one of the backup slots. at the bottom of the screen next to the swap button, you'll see a button that says copy all, which you're going to click while selecting the default character. then just click the other oc that's in the backup slots, and there you have 2 copies of the oc! i hope this helpss

That’s true, but for the OC not saving, you can just make a character for a long period of time which is not recommended but clicking the ads is recommended and then closing the whole entire app for Gacha Club then reopening Gacha Club
So unfair how Gacha life 2 only requires 16 and above ☹️ i was using Gacha club but then quit a few days ago so I guess it won’t bother me much but I really want to play gl2 like omg it has to be 16 and above 😭😭💔 ngl I have an android phone but it’s so hard to use it the screen is too small, one day I’ll get a new iOS phone that is 16 or above ( probably when I’m already aches I will 💀)
i was kind of expecting this, given how luni (as well as other people) have stated that the files for GC on IOS were either corrupted or outright lost, as far as i know. it sucks, but what can we do? we’ll just have to make do with what we have.
Us iOS users actually barely get anything. We got Gacha club LATE, now we can’t have Gacha club updates😂. Everyone else got mods and we had to wait for gl2, and some people STILL DONT HAVE GL2. its SO UNFAIR.

It is very sad that there’s no updates in Gacha Club as a RU-vidr who was thinking about being a Gacha tuber in the future, I am still used to the Gacha Club bugs and I know how to fix it to save you progress (I will probably make a video abt that) till this day I still use Gacha Club and I am used to the bugs and used to saving OC data in Gacha. This is upsetting how there will be no more updates for Gacha Club but I joined Gacha in 2021, And I wasn’t too excited for all the updates, but it’s pretty upsetting for you guys who use Gacha Club because Gacha started somewhere back then in 2015 ( I am a IPad OS user and a IOS user ) but here’s how to fix saving your OC data in Gacha Club! I don’t mean to be disrespectful, but I’ve seen games with much more complexity and build have better updates than gacha lets be fr. You’ve got to be a very good game developer and determined in their work to make a rly good game and unfortunately…a lot of luni’s games usually gets so many bugs. I understand if luni is “under stress” or something, but a game developer should know how to fix the bugs and should also update the game from time to time, as it keeps the players engaged. Just if anyone is confused what this means is that it doesn’t mean that you have to get a new phone. It just means you’re updates because older phones can’t go past 16 at the update log so you don’t have to get an iPhone 16 because the iPhone 16 is not out yet :) if any of you are confused, I hope this helps
I’ve been looking forward to Gacha Club being fixed since the update that broke it, and I do have GL2 but it’s so much harder to use. Luckily I’ve been slowly learning how to get around some bugs even though it’s incredibly inconvenient, just a shame it can’t be fixed. I might try to find a way to install an older version now that I know it for sure can’t be fixed.
I have similar opinions to this. Gl2 is just less simple, and most of the time I don’t want to make complicated characters. It’s nice that it’s there I guess, but GC is all glitched. Still using it as I have been though.
I’m crying(internally), now I’m deciding whether to quit as a Gachatuber or not. Listen, I love making videos, but The Gacha Club bug is making it very difficult for me to even get it over with, plus real life stuff happened, which really puts into a mood where I don’t even know what I should do at this point. I’ve been silently praying for the bug to be fixed, man! 😭

We had to buy a new android phone once a year because it kept lagging. I used to have a oppo phone, but my dad got mad at me for not paying attention to him so he bend my phone into a curve-like shape, it was unrepairable too. I’ve been trying to convince my mom to buy me a android or Samsung phone but she still said no. 🥲 Edit: my mom didn’t cuss when she told me why she won’t buy me a android phone, but you get the point 😅

Yeah I actually stopped using gacha once gacha club came out since it was always so laggy and absolute hell to work with since it kept deleting characters once you left the app no matter what you did

i haven’t used gacha club since the last update which made the game extremely bugged, and i find gl2 complicated to use and quite unfinished (some features are still not in game) and it is still christmas when july is in 2 days. i hope gl2 gets updated soon so ios users can make gacha content

I HAVE SMTH TO SAY!!! (please pin for people to see!) So basically, for people who'd rather have GACHA club more than gl2 because it's har to work with sometimes, there a hack I learned to save your OCs. Basically, before you leave the app, everytime your about to make sure you go to the settings area, click return to title screen an then restart the app. It should work, BUT TEST FIRST WITH A DEFAULT TO MAKE SURE ♡
and the only way we’d be able to downgrade it to be fixed is to jailbreak your phone which im pretty sure can get your phone revoked or smth 😀 AND I DONT EVEN KNOW IF THAT WOULD WORK??
I do not know about ios but I'm an android user, and I had to delete the game because no matter what I would be doing it would be giving me a bug. EVEN BEFORE THE MAIN SCREEN APPEARED. I was just clicking the game and the only thing I could see is "bug". Anyway, good thing I stopped using gacha a long time ago.😞
There's a couple way's to be able to save in GC ; that being going in the studio mode to save ur progress before completely closing the app, me and some others found ways to make the game save
I was like thinking if there a possible chance remaking the WHOLE game with new coding & will be only accessible for IOS users so for those who have android will be stuck with the old version without the bug glitch. Either way, RIP to IOS users who wanted to use gacha club for their videos (including me) 🙁
@@LunaAndTheCrew Flo has already stated that Luni probably gave up on Gacha Club since Gacha Life 2 is here now, I understand why you would want this but honestly, it’ll never happen. If Gacha Club’s files are a complete mess how the hell would you copy them… Either Luni actually tries to find a way in this (I doubt) or there’s really nothing we can do and if that’s the case then 🤷♀️ At least, it’s not deleted…

As a uh iOS user I found a way to save it so anytime you play you wanna press “Forced keyboard” and it should save but you’ll have to press it every time you reopen the app 😔 it atleast works for me I don’t know about others but I hope this helps! Since I seen people complain that it won’t save
As someone who is an IOS user that has both gc and gl2, Tbh I don’t feel too bad on not getting updates on gc👋😅👋 Just as long as I can still use the app and that it’s not deleted, it’s fine by me😗👍
So that means…… I can’t get use Gacha Club anymore…. No more making simple posts and no more story mode in that game. Damnit….. I guess Gacha Life 2 will have to do, and luckily, I got it for IPhone 12. Made a couple of my characters.
