OMG this breaks my heart! I will be praying for your recovery as well. Take it easy & let us know if you need anything (except that bag of money, its on back order).
Once again, very happy you're as ok as you can be. The loss of the bike that we know you loved sucks. However if you were lost in that, it would've been devastating to anyone who watches you or met you... let alone your family. So glad you were recording, so that lunatic could get caught and charged. Rest up, heal up, and get back on two wheels at your own pace. Thank goodness for your gear. This is proof of why all gear all the time is so important. So glad you were kept safe by that gear. Until you can grace our screens again Quasi... sending love your way.
Hoping you have a speedy recovery. I'm definitely going to have to remember this video the next time someone says gear doesn't do anything in a motorcycle accident. Looking at those post crash gear shots, I don't even want to imagine how bad it would have been without it.
I'm not a gambling man but I'm certain without that helmet, gloves, and jacket Aaron brobaly be a shredded vegetable and not even able to edit. Gear matters. There's luck and always the possibility of a little help from above. I'm just really glad my favorite motorcycle content creator didn't buy the farm because of some Yahoo speeding in their big cage.
I subscribed a month ago and really loved your Hunter 350 videos ...I too had a major accident on bike in Mar2020, so I can feel everything you are going through. Don't worry you will be back on your bikes just like I did after 10 months ....looking forward for those videos where your are riding again
This was a horrific crash. But glad to know you are still breathing. Take the time to fully recover. Hoping to see you make videos again sir. God bless.
Wishing you the fastest recovery possible. So sorry this happened to you and I hope you’ll still enjoy all the things you’ve brought to us with your videos. Prayers for your complete and speedy recovery…
Jeez, that is horrific. Sending you my best wishes during your convalescence, along with earnest hopes that you will make a full and healthful recovery, good Sir.
Just found your vlog a week ago, especially since you are riding the bike I want. Wishing you a speedy recovery, and nothing but positive thoughts and prayers to you and your family.
Very sad to see/read and thankful that, while a serious accident, you are still with us. Sincere wishes for a FULL and speedy recovery. Your audience will be here when you are ready. Again, best wishes to you and your family.
Praying for a speedy recovery.. while recovering from my motorcycle accident your video was the reason I bought myself the hunter 350 ... So far i love my hunter. hopefully you will be back riding in no time .
Here's to a speedy and full recovery from a fellow Hunter owner in Australia. And by the way the stock front tire does tramline badly. I agree. I'll be changing that out soon. I have some YSS rear shocks coming in the mail. Looking forward to fitting them. Get better buddy.
Heard about your accident before seeing this video. Hope you heal quickly, and God bless my friend! These things always happen when you least expect them to happen... I've had my share of accidents as well. Take care.
Hi there from the other side of the world here down-under in Australia. Just wanted to wish you a speedy recovery and hope to see updates on how you're getting on with the recovery. Thanks for all the videos on the Hunter 350 - it inspired me to get the same bike, including the dapper grey. I'm a new rider and so far have a good quality helmet, boots and gloves, but will definitely go out and get the jacket/jeans with armour now. Thanks again and get well soon.
Quasi, glad you are ok, my heart sank more than a little when I saw what happened, that being said, glad you have the wherewithal to ride smart and wear good gear. That helmet is thrashed! Sending you thoughts of healing and recovery. Appreciate you and will be missing your content until your back on your feet. You'll be back in the saddle before we know it! Be well good sir!
Thanks for the support and well wishes! While I'm healing and unable to ride, I'll be editing my 2023 Scooter Cannonball Run video series so we can relive the "good old days!" Cheers! 😉👍 --QM
God damn... those pictures are horrible! I hope you have a smooth recovery! It's a shame about the new bike, it was such a good looking ride, but at least you're alive and well and your gear saved your life. I wish you the best on the road to recovery, Quasi!
I'm sorry to hear about your accident. I'm glad you were able to walk away and hope your recovery is smooth. I was excited to find your channel since I recently bought my own hunter 350 and I'm excited to mod it. I also have zero mechanical experience so it will be a journey.
Seeing what happened to your safety equipment gave me chills. I'm very happy to know you survived this awful crash, Quasi. I hope it won't be your last ride vlog, but what's most important is that you have a total and complete healing from your injuries. That may take some time and lots of rest so please take care, don't rush things, and be kind to yourself during this process. As for the perp who did not, I hope the court will not be kind to him. He deserves to pay a stiff penalty for his immature road rage.
Gutted for you, after all the time & expense you put into getting the Hunter ready to ride & enjoy! The main thing, for now, is that you survived & I wish you a speedy recovery. Very best wishes ❤
Thank you for sharing this: the good and the bad. If nothing else, it provides a shocking reminder of how vulnerable us 2 wheeled road users are. Stay safe and here's to a full and speedy recovery.
The bike can always be replaced. Hope you heal fast, and thank goodness you were wearing your safety gear. Hopefully other will see you video and ATGATT. Godspeed to you and your family Aaron...
Pop, So sorry for your collision, I know you are too. Got a hunter a month after you. Have watched all your quickies and enjoyed your attention to detail. Hurts my heart. I pray for your speedy recovery. Harsh lesson to learn concerning I-10 or I-45. So sorry my friend. Gyro man.
Thanks for the support, Bill! Houston traffic is getting faster and more dangerous every day. I'm not sure when (or if) I'll be back on two wheels again... need to wait for the back and body to heal first. When I get back to "normal", I'll probably skip moto-commuting for a while... certainly through the bowels of Houston. I'll just stick to back roads and road trips on more sane roadways. Cheers! 😉👍 --QM
Good thing you had the gear on, I see alot of people riding in shorts and t-shirts, and no helmets. There are so many distracted drivers on the road. Hope for you speedy recovery and videos in the future.
Sorry to see what occurred. As they say , "Shit happens" Here's wishing you a speedy recovery . You were making some of the the most informative and interesting bike vids on RU-vid and I wish you all the best for the future All the best , Mike.
A Relief that you are ok, it that after the crash you were able to stand up and walk away, which is a good thing. I hope you'll get a speedy recovery and many more riding adventures soon, god speed , Greetings from Malta.
I'm not someone who comments on YT often, but felt moved to say glad you made it through safe and hope you are blessed with a quick recovery. Randomly stumbled across your channel just the other day, and was curious to see what you were going to do with the little hunter. What a shame that an inattentive driver can so quickly change our plans. Rest up, and best wishes for a complete recovery.
Thanks for the feedback and support, Daniel! I'm hoping to recover and get back to riding soon. While I'm recovering, I'll be editing and posting my 2023 Scooter Cannonball Run videos so we can relive the "good old days." I hope you find other videos here that are interesting to you. Stop in and leave comments anytime! Cheers! 😉👍 --QM
Hi Quasi, I hope that you are doing well on your recovery. Continued prayers and blessings for you. We look forward to seeing you all well soon, riding and vlogging as you always have. God bless you and keep you!😊
@@QuasiMotardI just noticed something at the end of the video. Why weren't your clothes cut up? Usually, when the fire department are not usually at a 100% of the time, they cut your clothes to pieces to make sure you don't have any internal or other injuries when you are in a road accident like this on a bicycle or motorcycle, they open your clothes up with scissors and then they give you issue. You clothes but you are at the hospital in your normal attire very strange
@@jasontomica8938 The pictures didn't show a lot of details, but my clothes were already partially cut to shreds while I was strapped to the backboard. The paramedics cut both legs of my jeans to check my legs and knees, and then the ER doctors cut everything else off of me at the hospital. 😉👍 --QM
@@QuasiMotard Yes, I hate that even though they're gonna save your life. I had a nice jacket ripped to pieces because of my accident. When I got hit on my e bike from a truck last month
Only just found your channel and specifically this video. Wishing you every good wish for your recovery friend. Hope we get to see you back on two wheels soon. 🤞🏼
It was hard to watch your SCBR scooter drop video. This was many times harder to watch my friend. Trust you are on the mend, and wish you all the best. Hope we get a chance to talk soon. Cheers from Vespachef.
My friend. I’m so sorry. I wish you a good recovery and hope that you don’t suffer any lasting physical or psychological damage from the things you described and experienced. Your Enfield can be rebuilt. But first of all, get well again.
Just discovered your channel via your Hunter purchase video. I asked about your GPS display in video. I went to your channel to subscribe and see this??? Praying for fast, full recovery, and financial wholeness plus. 80 mph car vs 55 mph small bike is not good. Subscribed.
I’m so sorry what happened to you brother. My prayers and blessings for you for a fast recovery and a clear mind and heart when you get well. Riding on the highway can be dangerous. Hope you go out when well with the Super Cub and enjoy a drive on the backroads in nature to truly heal. Prayers for your family too; they need you! Hope one day to meet you and ride the Super Cubs! God bless🙏🏼
Hello. I watched the entire trip from when you bought the bike and then I started discovering new videos of the Hunter 350 until I saw this painful ending. I wish you to recover as soon as possible. Greetings from Spain
Thanks for watching and leaving feedback! I started riding on two wheels again after about 7 months, but I'm still not back to "normal" yet. After my finances improve, I hope to get another Hunter 350. The new Triumph Speed 400 looks nice, but I think the Hunter's relaxed nature is a better fit for my back road adventures. Cheers! 😉👍 --QM
Fuuuuuu that... I quit riding on the highways here in DFW due to the propensity for mindless stupidity of the zombies and crackheads that make up the totallity of local drivers. The time I've spent in Houston didn't make me any more interested in riding there, either. I hope you're back on the road sooner than later. I've got a Hunter myself, and I appreciate your how-to vids immensely. Hang in there 💪
hey brother i really hope you recover soon, you helped me pick the navi as my first bike and i look to your videos for advice on future bike purchases and just overall good watches. Get well soon and God bless!
Dismayed to see this happen to you. Hope you feel better soon, and get a rapid legal resolution. Have been enjoying your videos, especially on the enigmatic little Hunter.
So very sorry this happened to you. Best wishes for a speedy recovery. You're unfortunate experience certainly demonstrates the importance of good gear. That accident could have been so much worse. Also hope you get some justice at law. I wouldn't be surprised if the other driver was texting. So many people on the roads are just selfish and foolish.
So sorry you have to go thru this, three years ago almost to the day October 13 I was involved in a motorcycle accident. Luckily I survived and I’m able to walk but I have since then I’m disabled due to all the pain. I hope you get a speedy recovery. But I sure hope it sometime you decide to come on and tell the story I’ve always loved your Contant. Take care get well soon.
Glad you are still here!! I did not have the guts to watch this knowing the outcome of the ride. It really sucks that some idiot did this to you. Someday he will have to answer to someone.... Keep on healing!!❤
Just found your channel yesterday and saw this today. Hopefully you’re healing well and I’m glad you were not hurt worse. I was hit by a car full of kids when I was 21 less than a mile from my house at 2am with no one else on the road. I got lucky too and wasn’t wearing anything more then a full faced helmet. (This was 25 years ago) Now it’s airbag vest for me because there isn’t a single reason not to. At 46 I’m also done with highways and interstates. God Bless and hope to see you back on the road soon.
I'm glad you are okay Quasi! Not going to lie, the ending part of the video made me sick to my stomach, and that was just still images. I'm so glad you are okay!
You know, I was thinking about getting a motorcycle, I was watching your videos and was contemplating getting one of these 350s, I really enjoyed your videos. and to see what happened at the end...do i even want to ride any more. ugh, get well soon
Damn, so sorry to hear brother. I hope you get well soon. Cant believe someone would do something like this intentionally. Happy you did get it on video to help your case. Like you said, always wear your gear. Cant wait to see more videos from you in the future.
Yes, it was an intentional act. The full video provided to the Houston DA, police, and insurance company shows the complete incident, including the driver's intent. Road rage, plain and simple. 😒 --QM
@@QuasiMotardcompletely insane and scary... glad you got out of it somehow Good that you have video footage - lawyerup and make this idiot pay while hopefully also getting him off the roads to protect the public
Sorry to hear you had a rear end shunt, here from NW UK,hope you get better quick, bit too far to come and visit you my friend but please be assured of my thoughts n prayers, return to 2 wheels soon my friend Ted
Damn that sucks!!. And I know exactly how this feels. As I have gone through a similar incident with the exact same bike you have, the RE hunter 350 Dapper Grey. I put a lot of care and work into my Hunter as well. And it just sucks when you love that motorcycle so much and when stuff like this happens, which just breaks my heart. I hope you recover soon and I am very sorry that your Hunter had to go as "A total loss". My incident was however not as bad, as I got rear ended while I was trying to do a U-turn. My bike is fixed and back to new condition, as it had minor issues. But man! I know how it feels. Well, all you can do now is be grateful and look at the bright side. Take care and hope to see you riding again. Much love
Thanks for the support! You can see the aftermath video here when I got the bike back from insurance. I still haven't gone through it yet to determine if it's salvageable or not: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-TeMytERhXBM.html . Cheers! 😉👍 --QM
@@QuasiMotard Yes, I just saw the video. I am glad to see you back and a lot better and already getting into fixing the bike. The left side really took a bad hit. I hope the chassis isn't twisted as you mentioned, so that you may be able restore the back as is. If not, then yes. You can start a whole new project for this bike. Im sure the people would love to watch that build series :D. Hope you recover soon 👍.
I didn't want to watch this because it's everyone's worst nightmare. Thank you for not showing us everything. It was very tastefully edited. I continue to pray for you in your healing journey. I purchased a Hunter 350 in rebel red about three weeks ago and I'm really liking it so far. This is a step up for me. I'm in my fifties and started riding a Honda Monkey four years ago. My brother has a Super Cub. That's how we originally found your channel. We wear all of the gear all of the time. I'm sure people have looked at us funny wearing full gear on a Monkey and a Super Cub, but we don't care. We got in one last ride for the season this past Saturday. We're in Wisconsin and there's a chance of snow flurries tomorrow. God bless.
Damm Quasi, Hope you're ok Bud. Sending prayers your way. I've been wanting to upgrade my helment. I'm getting one that you listed on this video. It looks like it held up well. Get well soon!!
Thank God for the gear. I still am aiming for a new hunter 350 this spring. It would be a perfect commuter bike for my needs. I will be putting my pads back in my jacket. I always wear gloves, boots and a jacket. I need to kick my gear up a notch while I can still make the decision.
YEP! I almost rode with my old Fly Racing mesh jacket because it was very warm that day. That old jacket doesn't currently have any pads in it because they got old/brittle and started crumbling, so I took them out. If I had been wearing that jacket during the crash, then I would have certainly suffered broken shoulders and arms/elbows... no doubt in my mind. The left elbow and right shoulder pads were nearly ground away during this incident, so that would have been my skin and bones instead! 😳👎 --QM
