Just started my first ever Diamond Dynasty team last Thursday and at first I was having fun on the road to World Series and I got a few of the free 99’s like Prince, Byron, Luis Matos, etc but ever since I’ve gotten deeper into my WS run I’ve consistently been running into people who clearly spend money on the game and it’s kinda been annoying so I was hoping this next season they go away from that. Unfortunately they did not…might stop playing tbh. Love the vids btw Fuzz been watching for 5+ years!
You have first year player syndrome. The game is fun as hell the first few years and then you see the MAJOR issues with the recycled garbage content and ZERO innovation. It's beyond pathetic. This is my 5th year in a row playing and I'm likely out forever after this year is up unless there are DRASTIC changes to the game.
@@jl5822as a 1 year-ish mlb player myself, this is 100% accurate. the first ever time i played a mlb game was mlb ‘16 but i didn’t know anything about baseball so i dropped it for 6-7 years and played mlb 23 for the first time and i had a crap ton of fun; after season 6 and the release of mlb 24, i’m at a loss of words of how unfun it is now because i just can’t get back to the grind i had back in mlb 23. i recently played started playing mlb 21 and i’ve been having fun since. sorry for the yapping session bro, i talk too much

I stopped buying the show after 22. Seems like I made the “correct” decision The Seasons look decent and all but as a NMS guy, I completely just stopped caring
Appeantly some dude who used to work at Blizzard said that Blizzard made more money off a $15 micro transaction horse in WOW, than one of the starcraft games
I love the gameplay in the show, been playing for the last 4 years. As someone who works a full time job, I really don’t have the time to grind TA every season and get all the good cards. I mostly play BR for this reason
Imma say one thing tho People were taking it out on the two people running the stream and I don’t think it’s their faults It’s the higher ups of the company that make it this way.

I do like not just getting 99s straight out the gate cause it made last year boring real quick, but the lack of content this year is ridiculous. How difficult is it to make programs outside of the typical weekly awards programs? They put what little content they had into storylines all to get cards that are worthless, and the grind to get a season boss at 900000 xp is ridiculous
People really out here paying for a roster update and relevancy. knew they were going to put the same cards and no effort to expand just exploiting peoples love for baseball I don’t wanna waste another year grinding for worst versions of players cards I had the year prior I’m just enjoying my god squads in 23 until they actually have something worth buying again
It's clear the higher-ups don't care at SDS, if they did they would listent to the fans and content creators, I know for a fact they see the negative reception and it's like they are trying to see what the breaking point is before people just stop playing. It's so tiring getting drip-fed content and getting excited to be greatly disappointed. I may be alone in this however I'm also getting sick of sets and seasons, I hate grinding for cards that are just gonna be unusable until S6, it was a decent novetly but ran it's course.
Who cares what “content creators” think. They’re just losers who can’t get a real job so they play video games all day. Recording yourself playing a video game doesn’t make you a content creator. I could do that crap and be like all these other losers but I have respect for myself.
So far I have liked the new cards that I have gotten for s2 already but let’s be honest for a moment as soon as July 16th happens which is when ncaa 25’s early access starts and July 19 the release date of ncaa 25 the player base numbers are going to drop like a free fall ride.
Yeah I legit lost interests a couple of months into it because of the seasons. It's bs. I work a job and I work a lot. I can't keep up with this crap. And by the time I'm able to grind and use my cards for 3 days I'm not able to use them anymore.

Ive only bought 23 and 24 at release and I didnt think 23 was all that bad.......This year sucks though.....Its definitely pay to play and the grinding has been cruddy. I dont play a lot in the seasons and Im starting to really despise affinity seasons......I 100% agree with you that this game is done
Packs are fine. Just play the game, get all the free stubs and buy the cards you want. I have every single card that's been released so far. No a single penny spent. People will complain about anything.
Dude.. no, packs are not fine. The reason why guys like Fuzzy placed emphasis on MLB 21 was due to the weekly content that was provided that made programs FUN and REWARDING! When you hide 90 plus cards behind a paywall, and Sets/Seasons forcing players to restart everything after 3 months of playing to get to 99, it waters down the game and causes others to simply not want to go through that grind again. It’s stupid on SDS when 21 was a prime example of: THIS is how you should drop content and gameplay.

Yea I can't even say you're complaining on this one. You literally can't complete the first season drop program without buying packs from the store or the players in them off the market

Quit with 12 or so days left of Season 1. SDS doesn’t care about our time, only our wallets. Sad they killed it faster this year than last year. Won’t be playing ‘25.
