I finally made it to the Ripley's Aquarium this past weekend. It was amazing! I wasn't sure if my expectations would be met... but they were! I highly recommend this place.
Something that amazes me is how social the rays are. They love the attention and will swim up to the glass if you're filming them. Or, if you're at the top (which is open) they'll playfully splash water ar bystanders. It was pretty amazing.
Wow, I live about 4 hrs away, but I can't wait to go check it out,. I've been waiting for this forever! Finally we have one too!! And being Abe to have a sleepover experience , my kid will love this, a will I :) , fantastic!!!
I went yesterday, it was fun yet there is always going to be children screaming and hogging spaces. But i still got cool pictures, the "dangerous lagoon" was awesome to go through i would totally reccomend going through i mean halfway through my axienty caught up on me and i had a panic attack for reasons but other then that it was awesome.
I went today. It was cool, but I was kinda sad after seeing how small some of the tanks were. The area with the Halibut and Cod had a large amount of fish in a really tiny tank. None of the fish looked very happy and there was one struggling to swim at the bottom of the tank. I wish all the kinds of fish would have the pleasure of swimming in the huge tanks.
In my opinion i think the fish in these tanks are lucky because they are fed and the water is filtered and is probably cleaner than the ocean with all the plastic pollution in today's oceans the temperature of the water is always constant and comfortable for them. It's a give and take and i think These fish are lucky and well taken care of and don't have to hunt too hard for there food. they are in a sanctuary and they probably don't know what they are missing being free. It si probably more stressful being free because they put fish that get along in a tank. So if they were not happy that day does not mean they are not happy with their living conditions. Maybe they had a disagreement with a fish friend lol
Wow, you captured some great footage of the sharks. Overall a great tour video, I also vlogged my experience at the Ripley Aquarium, feel free to check it out and give me some feedback if needed :D
