Douglas Fairbanks and Mary Pickford were two of the biggest stars in silent films. Coincidentally, they were married, and their mansion was known as "Pick-fair" ( not sure about the spelling).

Yep spot on the also ones a handful of hotels etc Pickfair was demolished not too long ago someone bought the property and built a new house.

@@brandonwendt1312 That was Pia Zadora who claimed it was infested with termites and it was razed to the ground. More likely Pia failed to do maintenance on it. Then on Celebrity Ghost Stories, she says that the real reason she demolished Pickfair was not due to termite infestation but because it was haunted by the laughing ghost of a woman who allegedly died there while having an affair with Douglas Fairbanks.

I had to look this story up. Weird and sad. He was homeless near the end, and had been on the walk of fame for 25 years as Superman. He even was on the Jimmy Kimmel show.

I unfortunately missed the livestream. If you are still in SoCal please try to visit the Queen Mary. If you are headed up north I highly recommend staying at the Holbrook Hotel in Grass Valley. It still has steel shutters on the windows from the gold rush era. There is a tunnel that runs from the hotel to Sutters mine. If you can plan in advance, it is worth it.

I was just here last month, they had a really cool pop up exhibition with some really amazing movie props over near the metro station across from Ripleys. It was called Icons of Darkness it might still be there!

I have been to the Hollywood one a couple times. There was an episode of Ghost Adventures where Zak actually was allowed to hold with gloves the mummy foot.He actually had some psychic impressions of the woman it belonged to!😎

HEY, JACOB WOW YOU really don't know who Mary Pickford & Douglas Fairbanks we're both 1920s and 1930s actors and actresses who played In numerous classic movies of that era also Love the two-headed parakeets and two-headed cows that Nana fortune teller was pretty freaky, and Tom thumb buried in mountain Grove cemetery in Bridgeport Connecticut I used to live right across the street from there OK so much stuff to mention So take care stay safe and will see you on the next awesome adventure

I know how that "floating" faucet works. There's a clear plastic tube that holds the faucet up. Water runs up the tube through a pump, and flows out of tiny holes poked at the very top of the tube. I got a strange floating water faucet l got from Spencer's gifts years ago . Came with a mug, beer bottle and the water faucet. So next time your there take your hand and go through it hahaha Great video by the way 😁😁✔💯
