I love that you did it yourself -I would've done the same thing- there's something so so so fulfillling about finishing a project or just doing something on your own. knowing your strength and knowing what you can do something is so fulfilling and validating.of course you could pay for it but there's no fun in that there's no real experience or a sense of learning in that AND why not save the money if you want❤

Honestly, people saying that you’re doing this for content are just haters. Nothing more. And plus, you have the feeling of proudness and satisfaction for yourself when you accomplish something instead of someone else doing the job! And, like you said, it really does save so so sooo much money especially with materials and the labor to pay for people doing it is going up in price. If you got a SoGen backup, you’d have more control over your electricity consumption. Jackery has a Black Friday sale today, so you might want to pick up a unit that is at least 1500W or higher. The outlets in your house are around 1500W and most appliances with motors or heat run at that level. The higher capacity the better.

This is dope & I’d have done the same thing. I’m all about taking the time to learn to do things on your own. You grow from it! Especially coming from not having a lot of money growing up.. I definitely wouldn’t want to throw all I have in the air. Especially since a lot of the jobs like ripping up flooring is overpriced & doable.

Idk if there is an explanation on why Ava wants concrete flooring but if there is please let me know. I feel like if you fall off your bed and bump your head even with a rug it would hurt bad. What do concrete floors do besides the look? Are their benefits to concrete floors? Never heard of someone wanting concrete floors but would love to know.
