Another great bike and video. Brings back great memories of my old CR250. 1st quality motocross bike I ever owned. Powervalve problems aside would last all day screaming about the hills of lower Scotland. Your videos are jam packed with memories and I can't get enough.

i taught my kids to ride in snow on 82 RM 80. Best training to learn.

Growing-up in Illinois, west of Chicago, we would always ride in the snow. We would don snowmobile suits, boots, large gloves, and a full-face stocking mask inside out helmets. We had a sod farm nearby, and would make a large oval flat track. Plant your left leg and go round-de-round. What a blast!

After hearing this who would even want to ride a 4 choke?

I had two " 01" cr 250 's back to back a power valve spacer makes the power kick in even more down low . Add a flywheel weight and its awesome !

I bought that same bike back around 2000 when I was 17 and it was one if the fastest bikes in the pits for years and it ran never had a issue most I did was a piston 6-7 years of hell and the low end took it 10s of hours of a kid hammering on it

Love it!I dig them screwed tires,I used to have tires like that for my 50 horse 350 x back in the day.played catch with local sheriff's in the winter,they didn't appreciate it though, hahaha

I currently race my 2001 and when I ride it like you’re supposed to ride it there’s nothing that can touch it track down and drag 450s all day no problem. I got asked if it was a 500 at the baja brawl last year

It looks like its got the Keihin airstriker carb too, the 98's originally came with a power jet carb that was shite, cant see the electrical connector on the left side of the frame around the petcock area so im guessing it was swapped out

I've fish tailed in snow for over a whole kilometer on my human powered mt.bike. My Dad waxed the kitchen floor so I could fly in there on my plastic tractor trike and spin out from the hallway to the entrance. You could say I was brought up sideways.

Keep the ice spikes on there.. we run them year round on the Wabash River bottoms... Big downside don't ever try to cross or ride down a paved road of any kind with screws in your tires or ice spikes either one cuz it's like trying to ride a bicycle with no tires but just the rims you'll turn one way and she'll go another .I'm using up all your storage sending Kenny eye candy and pics of a new super stock S&S 6-speed transmission flat track rims and tires Steve Storz aluminium gas tank . saddleman Tracker seat ..lights California tag on the back under the seat .. just now found a 2007 cr125r 500 miles west in Oklahoma 1900 bucks or best offer been listed for over 60 days.. looks very clean in the photos... The knobs look like they have three or four more races left on them . All the plastic straight no kinks or.. white spots and the last test sounded good.. engine got good power just Don't blink... And I say before you buy any pipe belts or whistles or Chrome hubcaps add one tooth to the rear sprocket or figure on burning out a clutch.. and shifting from second to third if you blink it's flame out start over ..very short power band .but ve have vays of making her talk with deeper voice like stuff it port it polish the pro circuit vay...
