Because it uses xrp as a settlement and not to mention spring ( ripple ) had invested in this company two years ago . I’m am very excited . I appreciate the forward looking conversation and David Schwartz is definitely a big brain. And I get that these ideas are hypothetical and not necessarily fully formed, but a couple thoughts come to mind on the Wikipedia example. If there are no more ads and we simply donate by navigating to Wikipedia, how do we: a) avoid the free rider problem b) maintain net neutrality If, say, I have 9 XRP in my wallet and it "costs" 10 XRP in donations to visit Wikipedia, do I pay 9? Can I not access it? Then, what's the incentive to not keep 0 XRP in your wallet? Then, similarly, what's stopping Wikipedia from making the donation 20 XRP next time?
