I remember when I was still a little kid, my Chinese neighbours were the nicest people I've ever known. These people were from the lower rank of middle class. They were so giving and caring. At that time, I stayed at the ground floor. They would usually go up to my window to give my younger sister and I stuff like chocolates, snacks, soft drinks etc. Maybe because they knew that my mom was working two jobs, a HDB cleaner in the morning and a production line worker in the afternoon. I guess they saw how she struggled to bring us up. When I was 4 years old, I used to cry a lot at the staircase outside my house. Punished for no reason. This frail old Chinese lady always came to my rescue. She's my angel and I always think about her when I'm sad. Because of these experiences, I told myself that whenever I have a chance to help anyone, I would not look at their skin color. We all belong to one race, that is, the human race. Spread love. Not hate.

When I was homeless and had nowhere to go, a Filipino family took me in. I lived with them like a daughter, and like a sister to their children even though I was a young adult. I stayed with them for 2 years. I eventually met my husband in church, got a job, and live a comfortable and blessed life. I will never forget the kindness of that Filipino couple.

Would be nice if that were true. But alas, the real world is not like that. In the real world the kind people get exploited and abused more than others. Still choose that path, but life on this planet is pretty heart-breaking, with all the unrighteousness in it. The more I got involved with those that hurt, the more I got hurt myself. The grandpa was probably not rich but just caring and kind when he was younger. And look! Now he’s got such a nice family… I believe Kind Heart is contagious and that the grandchildren will grow up to be kind people❤

wellllll I cried because my grandpa needed a cake for his 98th birthday and my mom didn't have enogh money at the time and a guy bought the cake for me.later when we got to my grandpas house we were at the party and he had a stroke........yep on his 98th birthday. The next day my mom said tell your goodbyes to grandpa.he died the next day
