Rise 1945 did a few songs together. You can find some of their performances here on RU-vid (A+A Showcase its called) but he is performing as Hoffen now.

Rise 1945 is an older project he was involved with but they are no longer together. Now he is Hoffen.

Well, I think it is obviously written by someone who's first language is not English. Also, some of the references are a bit strange to my ear, like "watermelon snow", which he pronounces wathermelon. But, lyrics on their own don't matter to me. It's more about the atmosphere it creates. For example Depeche Mode. Some of the songs I know my whole life, but never actually listened to the lyrics until I was much older. The voice and the sound together makes this song great. You ever heard a song in a different language and then once you search the words the song almost spoils to an extent because you had your own interpretation in your head? This was almost like that, but not totally the same. I still love this song.

And what do you think about the lyrics?
